[Plugin] AdvancedItemFilter RELOADED !

Hey man, Love the plugin. Though there is a feature that I would REALLY love to see:
Being able to add a costum rule for the stashing. So that it stashes all the items valuated by the costum rule function in a specific tab.
For example: ("item.FullName == "Diamond ring"", "MyDiamondRingTab")

I tried to add the feature myself to the code, but it seemed WAY more work than I though. So therefore Im asking you, since you probably know your code a bit better than I do

Probably gonna change the way specific tab for names works, since people have been asking for it. But it's not coming soon since I have to deal with everything that have specific tabs

I got a problem to install the plugin, after extracting into plugin folder I cannot start the bot as it will open a notepad file.

Also do not use any folders that contains "EB" or "ExileBuddy"

Can't find the "Plugins\AdvancedItemFilter" folder.

He wont release it until currency prices fall, that's the way shit happens. You have to make it yourself or edit current if you want optimal plugins. This is no disrespect to you tonyx the plugin is great and use it myself but people shouldn't expect top notch releases while others are making coin its just not going to happen.

This is no disrespect to you tonyx the plugin is great and use it myself but people shouldn't expect top notch releases while others are making coin its just not going to happen.

That's not because you spend half the day in front of the computer that people do the same.
I just don't have the spare time to do everything I have to, that's a different thing.
We also work on other projects at the same time, I expand my farm (leveling toon is pita for me) and linux is breaking my head these days ;D
I can release it tomorrow if you want, but the first post I'll see from you is gonna get ignored if it's for reporting a bug, and you will wonder why.
For some explanations, to perform the GCP recipe I use recursion (if you know what it is, else ignore this) this means I can group gems that reach 40~ quality. the issue with this is that I'll have to count the entries to make sure I have space to hold them in inventory, it's pretty clear in my mind but when I jump into the task's code it's a different approach.

Oh, and also, currency price is already fucked. And as soon as this release goes on, expect it to be worse, because people will be able to farm ONLY chaoses with their mf chars.

So no, it's not in my interest to keep it off for now, it's just a matter of time that I don't have.
In my country I work for 700 euros per months, which is higher than average eastern countries but sadly im in the west. so AIF is a side-job pretty much. + my gf is a bit harsh about hearing me typing on my mech-keyboard thousands of lines (doh, makes noise!)

Tonyx it was not a direct hit to you, its just generally how the botting world works. Take a look at honorbuddy, all the good things are paid/donation in the buddystore or on private websites and yes people are busy I do understand that (I have four children). But most devs keep the best stuff back on hold untill its not worth their while to or you pay them for it but even then who knows.

Tbh I would be happy giving you a donation if donors got access to non public releases or faster support etc.

This is a free piece of software, if I wanted to make it paid I would've done it already, donators shows their support, they shouldn't expect any advantages over others.
without those projects all over the board EB would be a grind bot, that's probably the reason why there's no buddystore for EB.

I'm against keeping the stuff for my own profit before releasing, as soon as it's stable you get it. I've been testing the new recipe task pretty hard since it's a huge rework and it's now failsafe (I've made some shifts without bugs) and compatible with 3rdpartyloader. Someone reported an issue with GCP an it's true, that's not a major issue but I had to fix it a while ago and never had the time haha
So basically I guess i'll just throw this update like this for now, and work on the specific tab/gcp stuff this week instead.

For me, it's stable as it is now. I wanted to get it handling bot stops for it and it's pretty much done.
So no, no project are paid from me (except if it could be gamebreaking, as always, those have to be user-restricted ) but AIF has nothing really gamebreaking on its own, it's just the way you use it that is gamebreaking

To point out dbf's point under this post, there's no real private build of AIF, just inner modifications by devs themselves that we judge "good or not".

AIF itself won't ruin the economy. That can be certain. An average Joe making 100~ Chaos a day MFing, will never beat a bot farm of 100 strong making 40 chaos a day.

Public release are different then private.
Public is less optimized because, let's face it, not everyone is a bright light.
Private, we know what we're doing, we make things that work Exactly for what we're doing, no need to worry about issues someone else "might" have.

At the end of the day, everyone wants something in return for their time, don't expect to be handed someone's free time and brain power for free.

It's never a free lunch, only the ignorant ones think that world is made for them.

I was generalizing this, I never pointed fingers at anyone.


Edit - tonyx is correct about it's how you use it. Without AIF, I wouldn't be profiting much, and would be constraint on free time. AIF handles 80% of my management tasks.
