WoW Blacksmithing Guide 1-525 | Blacksmithing Leveling Guide


Alliance: Therum Deepforge <Blacksmithing Trainer>, Stormwind City - Dwarven District
Horde: Saru Steelfury <Blacksmithing Trainer>, Orgrimmar - Valley of Honor

Instructions:

Buy the items for each "Stage", so you buy the items for 1-75 and go to the trainer and let it work (auto-train, auto-create), then go to 75-125 and so on...

Turn off Mounting (Use Mount tickbox).

v1.3 - 25/04/2012 - Ding 525, 1.4 and above will be about optimization only (so you don't need to spend more than you have to buying the mats).

v1.2 - 18/04/2012 - Lots of Logging.Write and Bag check for certain items, just needs testing and I will test when realms are back up, it tells you what you need to buy and the locations of recipes (only 2) which are Friendly to both factions.

v1.1 - Horde now supported (small change)

It will make the items it needs to, automaticly :).

Currently there is no bag check to see if those items don't exist, it assumes you have those items already although I'm added a helpful thing to basically say that you don't have the regents to make the item and will tell you what it's trying to make and what items you need to buy but not how many (because you'd have to compare current level etc and maybe in the future but unlikely... :p)
 
version 1.2 will have alot more logging so you can also see what mats you need and what mats aren't in your bags, atm it isn't perfect but working on it :)

should be released in a few days.
 
updated again, still 1.2 just made a silly mistake which VS2010 didn't want to tell me about.

Looks good, too bad I don't got blacksmithing on any character right now :/
 
1.3 will be the fully functioning version, had some spelling mistakes like Bracer instead of Bracers... wait till 1.3 which should be released within few days.
 
Looking forward to 1.3, would be nice for a future release to be able to call mining scripts up to gather mats.
 
I will try 1.3 for you aswell! My realm is empty on blacksmiths! :)
 
sorry for the delay, just spent approx 15,000 gold and I'm at 425... so I'm botting in Uldum to get some gold ^^

I'm on the most expensive realm ;) should only be 10,000g on your realm (although if you farm the mats yourself it's obviously free)

Skipped 1 recipe because it required doing a quest... also might skip one of the other recipe because of the weird spawn times and the fact that you have to kill the hordes version of who sells that recipe in Swamp of Sorrows in order for it to spawn in your NPC.

Optimization will occur on 1.4, 1.3 does work from 1 to 525 but we need to make sure that it's optimized in 1.4 so that we don't spent more than we have to (requires multiple testers because of skillups are random so you're bound to have a few items left which is understandable).

1.3 Released! Optimization is now key in order to save the user from spending out more gold than is necessary and to proceed with improving the quality of the plugin by decreasing the quantity of the items required to complete the main objective.

Here's some feedback: THANK YOU!

I'm abit late with the use of your plugin,
been getting that insane title last week.
Anyways, at first I was standing by the wrong BS trainer in Orgrimmar,
so my character never trained new skills. I double checked and realised my mistake,
luckily I had only got to like 125. He's so far running with no errors! (300),
but oooh happy days - my server is expensive! :D
If I have to give some negative feedback it'll be having to go to Swamp of Sorrows for that recipe! :P

I'm a little confused as the first thread kinda says I should buy mats my self for stages and the bot will craft.
But your 1.3 Optimization says it will save u some money? ( does it buy mats himself now )?
 
1.4 will be about saving money by not buying as much mats i.e more than what is needed.
