please fix the monk

yes if i take sweeping wind off my bar and replace it with something else it works with no problems

The items required counts were wrong for Innas Set, this might be causing your issue. Will update in new version of trinity, heres the change.

ok i changed that i had to use notepad to get in so not sure if i did it right but i still have the same problem 2 other pepole have messaged me and said they also have the same problem on my other thread so its not just me hope we can get this figured out thanks
 
i notice on the bottom of the bots screen it will give instructions then say bot paused then give more instructions and say bot paused it does this continueosly so not sure if thats the problem or not
 
The new code seems to have fixed the issue. My monk would attack then run backwards a lot and it seems fine now. Thank you.
 
Recognized similar a behaviour on my demon hunter (playing both, monk and dh, but since monks seem to be broken I only use my dh currently). In fact with a m6 dh it is not that bad compared to monk because he only needs to place 1-2 sentries on t6 which will deal automatically with mobs. In my case I think it has something to with the avoidance and targeting system - it seems that he first wants to avoid an aoe, then targets an out of range mob but gets stuck because of the avoidance (feels like avoidance system tells him to run north and target system tells him to run south, something like that). Will attach a logfile later on or tomorrow depends on how much free time i've got today :/.
Don't thinks its a gear thing, I'm using the standart 3SWK, 3BT, FD Monk setup - It got a bit better since I'm using the custom swk-monk combat routine from the forum.
 
Monk frequently acts like he's in zerg mode, won't fight in trial grift (combat shutoff isn't disabled), often will pause for 30-60 seconds and run into a corner and refuse to fight. Tries to run away from everything in grift, trash pack set to 0 and avoid aoe is off.

I seem to have this issue too, with the monk running away. She only does it after using epiphany(generate more spirit rune), when her spirit skyrockets and maxes out. I can't tell if it's epiphany doing it or the max spirit/high spirit regen. I have spam mantra on and it works until this skill/rune is used and spirit shoots up fast. When I manually cast any spirit spender at that point, she will fix herself. I'm not great at editing scripts but i'd love to see the monk fixed. SWK monk - Trinity

You using epiph with cyclone strike(pull)? There's your issue. Bugged.

Ok so update on my situation , i remove Sweeping Wind and it has stopped doing it . Cheers to the people who posted about SW being the cause .

Does anyone know of a quick fix i can do to get it to be ok with sw ?
 
Well glad I read this. I took SW off my bar and it seems to be working a bit better but it still is not focusing elites and running around aimlessly. Any ideas?
