Please don't screw up the economy..

So yesterday i wanted to auction some of the saronite i mined overnight. My auctioneer starts scanning, and what do i see? one dude undercutting stacks of saronite by 5 g, and putting up 110 stacks, then another one undercutting for 5.5g and putting up 140 stacks.
Excus me be but are these people somehow mentally not 100%?
I have no doubts some are using GB cos i seen loads of bots doing the standard route in sholazar basin.
So if you people read this, please do NOT do this. why? 1: you are messing up the economy for other sellers. Also you are gimping your own income. send the saronite to different chars, and sell 15-20 stacks divided by your alts. and do NOT undercut that drastically, 5 or 10% sure, but heck dont go sell that stuff for 12g while its worth 17-19g
2: putting more then 30-40 stacks up is just asking for a ban, Blizz will check out your account and then you have a problem.

I know i can buy em etc, resell for more make profit, but the problem won't be gone like this. Its not like i can check the ah every couple of hours, after a period of time the prize of certain items will just drop because of this.

i like my server b/c i and maybe 1 other person bot... or i have scared everyone else off the server ... i really dont know. but my prices are 5% below standard non-botters prices, i'll sell for 10% less or so in /2

and to my private buyers, the prices are a tad bit lower but they dont re-sell the raw product on the AH so i dont complain!
 
Indeed there is a lot of people doing this! Personally I use a bank to sell all the stuff to private buyers, just 10 to 20% off AH prices.

People dont care, they put up insane amounts of stacks for a quick sell.

And yes, it is those people who "ruin" for the rest of us.

if they are selling it for 12g / stack you can actually buy all that ore yourself, smelt it, vendor it and make a profit. your welcome
 
Actually everyone does his onw thing, so if they want to sell for 4 g the stack , they should , it will be bought in 2 hours up and ppl will use the saronite for jewelcrafting

You can not forbid ppl for how much to sell stuff, this is free economy, plese stop spamming the forum with such nonsense.

ps. i will D O this too, but actually i have no time to sell this shit over AH, i vendor them
 
people that sell sar ore for less than 12G are stupid, cause you can vendor it for that price. and about the huge undercutting... i dont have any issues with them on my servers :) <3

I'm not spamming the forums, and it is not nonsense.
I understand some of you own 10+ bots and really can't be arsed to AH everything because its just too time consuming, but i reckon 80% of the people visiting this forum actually do sell saronite on the AH. Its kind of a problem for those people, thats why i posted this, + suggested things (divide between alts, ..) to indirectly help those people undercutting/putting insane amounts on AH to not get them banned, and so they and we casual botters can make more money.
Also i'm not by all means forbidding anything lol, where did you read that? I just said it's not really clever and its ruining the economy for the rest.
Dont take this as an offense, i'm just defending my original post.
 
nojabscorp, you didnt read my whole post. Buying it cheap, smelting it/vendoring or selling for more doesn't remove this problem, people will continue doing it. and not everyone has time to check the ah 6 times a day.
 
a botter talking about "screwing up" the economy is ridiculous .

economy will stay stable as long you dont flood the AH and there is more supply then demand.

there isnt anything to discuss really... you cant force people to stop undercutting by a larger margin... its just the way things go around your server.
and there are more bots than just this one, so even if you tell us it wont matter :p
