[PimpMyGuild] - The ultimate guild recruiter! Updated for 5.0.4!

Hello.

I've downloaded both the add on and the plug in, all into the right folders with the right SVNs...

But not only can I not find the PimpMyGuild in add ons, I can't edit settings for the plug in.

I know theres probably previous answers and I read a few pages...just not gonna read 80 pages

PimpMyGuild isn't a addon, it's a plugin for HB and it doesn't have any settings.
SuperGuildInviter is the addon in wow, all settings are handled by this addon, /sgi options in game and the settings page will appear.

Personally i dont get where people are getting all these problems from, this thing is working like a dream for me, guess im one of few who actually knows how to use it...

Thats what I meant, SGI isnt showing up in my Addons, and PMG isnt lkettign me edit settings (greyed out)

There is no settings available for edit for PimpMyGuild.
SuperGuildInvite should show up in you addons, if you did the SVN checkout properly.
A folder called SuperGuildInvite should then be located under \Interface\AddOns\
I've made the mistake once, and manage to place it under \Interface\AddOns\AddOns\ instead, so you could check this.
The version on curse won't work with the HB Plugin, so you have to use the SVN version.

For those annoyed by the update text/alerts, open the file \Interface\AddOns\SuperGuildInvite\SuperGuildInvite.lua
Delete the lines containing

if Alerter then

On revision 62, it should be lines 928, 929, 930 and 931.

Hai, i've been using this plugin earlier and i loved it. But by being foolish i did by accident update the addon. Now it wont work, what should i do ?

My modified SGI still has more features than 6.7.
And it's a new SVN ver up btw, I removed the code that notifies that there is a new ver on curse.

Just wanted to post that this plugin turned my guild from 10 members, level 4 into 223 members, level 22 in 13 days. We've leveled twice a day for the past few days and I've begun to start on my second guild. Pretty great plugin, my thanks goes out to you Sidalol

Yeah, I agree. this is great work. What realm have you been using it on? like Full, High, Med, or Low?

I'm on a high pop server, but I'm on the underrepresented side (about 5:1) it's good at grabbing the players who are leveling a new toon, however most are abandoned pretty quick. Out of all the 220 members I'd say about 40 are active and continuing to level past 10 (remembering people leveling 1 to 10 still brings in a solid 3-8mill guild xp) once the guild is 25 I will have to do some real recruiting to bring in the high level "money makers"

Can anyone help me? When i staert pimpmyguild + sgi and start the superscan there just comes this little window which scan but i thought it will automatically invite all the guildless ppl? but it just shows me how many i could invite if i push the button "invite"

and i get this lua error ingame:

That is because you don't have my altered SuperGuildInvite addon, download it, link is in first page.

This plugin is probably my favorite one. I have had some problems with it and the tyrael botbase though. For some reason it will not invite players when using the tyrael botbase, it will start searching but not invite people.

Sounds like the plugin half is disabled. Make sure Tyrael doesn't disable plugins.

Thank you for your response. However, i have already tried with plugin pulsing enabled and disabled. When plugin pulsing is enabled for tyrael it does open the sgi scanning window and starts scanning, but it does not invite the queued players.

Just wondering what the consensus is on getting reported (spam) for using this addon/plugin (I haven't been yet). Also, what are peoples opinions on whispering/invite vs Invite only?

Enabling whispers will get you more accepted invites since you can personalize it, however will almost certainly lead you to a 3-day ban for spam. Using invite-only won't get you banned for spam since players can choose to auto-refuse any guild invites if they wish.

for people who dont want to purge the list and keep inviting people who declined then go into superguildinvite.lua and change
