Pickit Help for a newbie

Hi I just installed DB yesterday and got it running well over night. I just came back to D3 after 1 yr off. All my items are crap. The current pickit is too picky. I tried to mess with it but have some questions.

I am running latest DB and Trinity with questlogger and Community Bounties Act 4 profile.

1. There are two locations in DB to setup item rules. a) Under Bot settings which says weight based rules b) Under Trinity--> Which says "Trinity Scoring Only". Which of the two is default settings.
2. The trinity rules are a in *.dis file format. what do I need to edit these? I tried notepad and the formatting was all wrong.
3. I'd like my bot to pick up all crafting material. Common Debris and Reusable material to help with crafting. How can I change that?
4. Anyone out there have a simple pickit for a newbie?

okay I figured some things out.
1. Was able to pick up common crafting material by changing trinity setting.
2. Saw if I pick trinity scoring system in Trinity plugin I saw set scores for weapons/armor/jewelry. I set weapon to 30K, armor to 6K and jewely to 5K that is less than half of the recc'd....still not stashing anything from a full day's worth of runs. Do I need to do anything else to keep decent rares?
