On a side note.. Gen monks are about the squishiest thing I have ever played. I very well might stop playing them and move to WD. He is getting wrecked in 60+.

The real trick is avoiding 1 shot mechanics and face tanking the rest with enough life per hit. Simplicities stength really does work once you get over 1 million life on your monk. But that would require mostly like a full set of ancients.

On a side note, is your generator monk build setup to use serenity? This can save you a lot if your quick with it.

Lastly dashing strike will make or break you too. Getting it to smartly use it defensively and offensively will boos your GR much higher.

The build has exponetially high ceiling for damage if you can stay up, get decent FD procs and stack stricken. I love watching CoE procs and FD procs in an occulus ring. I want to setup 3 monks, 2 dps and 1 zdps and zbarb. I think monks will have the highest damage output once everyone starts getting BiS. Getting 5 aps with stricken is just going to wreck everyting, especially with 100%+ area damage.

I do have 6pc, and it seems to run much better now that I have unticked "beta playground" - But I guess it's just me whos to much of noob at this :P - But I still really appreciate all your good work :)
 
I have decided I am not going to support Monk outside of grouping. I apologize to my monk users. I will be committing the last bit of code for it which should include the Generator builds that are popular, but this will be my last commit for Generator solo stuff. This class requires entirely too much kiting and avoidance for Trinity to do it effectively solo.

Edit: Nielsen, this next commit should fix your issue.

as acps said its really only dodging the 1shot stuff with dash and then staying in punching things for procs and loh

alas though i might consider building a grp ;D
 
I have 30k LOH and he still get's destroyed at 60+. Gear isn't great, but it isn't bad. 1.3M dps / 1600-2k resist's / Defensive Build with Shoulders and Wrists + Serenity / 60+ gems and he just get's used.

wasnt questioning your decision, i can understand. all gear absolutely maxed out and the gen monks are still squishy as fck
 
If WD has "endless walk set" on he is always moving around like hexing pants. in normal trinity he stands still.
 
Is there way to force Monk use Dashing Strike every 6 sec for 6P Rainemtn buff ? For example when fighting RG, he wont use it sometimes.

It should work now with latest trinity, and with Beta Playground enabled. - Only thing for me is that he keeps Dashing out of combat spending all my spirit, although dashing out of combat is turned off.
 
I was testing out the Beta Playground with my Crusader and I see it being a total mess up, sometimes skips resplendent and elite packs, and I have the option checked to open rare chests, other times it continues to pull monsters even though the rift is complete.

I'm using 221 trinity.

will you make the WD summon gargs on top on the elite each time? would be nice to kinda "target" the elites instead of letting the gargs running around and attack everything else first.
 
Nwm, no point in playing Gen Monk with DB. It cant be utilized correctly no matter how much you tinker with settings. Cant do 60+ without dying. This is build super squishy with insane DPS output, but it has to be played manually.. Time to change class. WD or Crus. What do you recommend ?

Are you planning on updating the builds on the first page solo and group as to what is supported?

MAybe if I get unlazy. I do not get paid for this so I do it in free time. Once things settle, I will probably work on that.

It is him trying to get closer to cast. I am working on making it move less.

I no longer have a crusader account as it got banned. Until I get enough donations to get a new account it will remain unsupported.

Never mind flashfire works fine as soon as I turn the beta mode off:) Still wizard seems kind of weak this seasons~_~ flashfire is nice for farming but for GR its fairly limited I cant get beyond 75:(
