Permaban - Legion refound?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but I was wondering...If I buy the Legion license and I get permabanned for botting after I do that, may I ask a refound for it? I don't think so but I want to be sure...
I'd like to use the character boost on one of my toons but I don't want to waste 50 euros on an account that might get permabanned soon :D

Of course you may ask for a refund. It's a free world. You may ask for a million dollars, you may ask for a new ferrari, you may ask for a refund.
Chances of getting any of those are about the same for each.

I would take a million dollars over a ferrari, so I could buy like 3-4 of them

I'm afraid you forgot the part where neither of them is very likely to happen.
I would say; start playing the lotery. That actually has a decent chance of you winning the money you'd get refunded for Legion ;)

See? TS asked whether he could get his €50 back and now you've payed that to him....
 
Here's what you should do...

Ask the question to Blizzard. Let us know how it goes for you.

Be sure to tell them that you plan on botting, too.

Blizz isn't responsible for refunding anything if you get banned.
 
Just Won 7 Paypal charge backs and 1 Visa charge back for getting perma banned. Paypal will not protect the seller if the item is intangible or virtual item or service. Visa just likes me! Stick it to Blizzard anyway you can. I don't see why people aren't constantly buying and botting. Their EULA and TOS don't stand up to consumer protection offered by PayPal and most CC companies. Ban away Bliz.......You created the Wow Token lol.....

If you get banned before Legion has been released, you are entitled to a refund. Basic consumer law here. I have proven this, with Blizzard, many times. If you demand a refund, you will likely get un-banned. Blizzard does not like to give refunds.

I have successfully un-banned accounts at least 10 times because of this and received full refunds 3-4 times.

Not a single person that demanded a refund during the 6 month banwave got unbanned, myself included. I did receive a refund because I had been banned a day after paying a monthly subscription, but that wasn't that common either.

Unbanned 10 times because you asked for a refund....Right. If you've been banned 10 times and Blizz can tie all those accounts together, the likelihood of you receiving 1 refund, let alone 3-4 is about zero.
 
This is taken directly from section 10 of the TOS:

"This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate this Agreement by deleting the Game Client and terminating all World of Warcraft Accounts registered to you. In the event that you terminate or breach this Agreement, you will forfeit your right to any and all payments you may have made for pre-purchased game access to World of Warcraft. You acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to any refund for any amounts which were pre-paid prior to any termination of this Agreement."
 
ToS does not override consumer law. They can say lots of things in the ToS that does not matter much in the eyes of the law. I would think the fact they cannot actively scan your computer to look for an bot process would be enough to prove that to you. This has been discussed many times. Besides the key words here are "pre-purchased game access". That refers to game time only, not new content licensing.

If they terminate your account prior to the product you ordered being delivered, you never received the product and the ToS are not in force. Period....game over. I have a letter i use every time and it has been successful. The few times when Blizzard has been slow to respond, disputing the charges is always effective. I simply attach the letter i sent to the dispute and note they have not responded and it is automatic.

I cannot speak for why someone did not receive a refund or not. Blizzard counts on people not asserting their rights.
 
Sure...The problem with your statement is you have to prove that in a court of law. So go get yourself a lawyer, get them to file a lawsuit, spend lots of your own money just to get a $50 refund. Sounds like a wise investment to me.
 
The effort you have to put into it is directly proportional to the size of the stick up the GMs ass your dealing with.

The last step you ever have to take is disputing the charges. The only reason you have to do the other steps is because you have to show your credit card company you tried to resolve it directly.


Blizzard will not put the effort into trying to validate the credit card charges. Its not worth their effort. If you provide the correspondence making the case, they will have to escalate it to their legal department to deal with. If it makes it that far, legal will simply let the refund happen.

Anyone who works in any kind of accounting and/or legal department can validate this is how it all works.

It's a claim before a small claims court. It's not "a lot of money", there is no lawyer involved, there's hardly any proof necessary. Getting this refund is hella easy.
 
I don't doubt they wait for that sort of thing before banning. I was never banned in my life until I purchased about a dozen wow tokens. A day later BAM no more accounts. You think they freeze the tokens? Hell no - clock keeps running.
 
yes you can get a refund, I was banned so I asked for a refund, Didn't get unban
