Perma ban after 5 hours of Bgs

Just a heads up. My first 5 hours of running honorbuddy in Bgs got me a perma ban... first time user and first time ever running honor buddy in bgs. I was also sitting by computer all night and about 50% of this time I was playing or controlling my character.....

BGBuddy or BGFarmer(with edited settings)??

In the last couple on month and after each banwave i equippted up to 50 Toons using BGFarmer with "smart" settings like "stay with biggest friendly pack", movement controlled by BGFarmer, CR using GladiatorSuite.
Never got any of these toons banned.

So it's either bad luck for you or your fault was to trust in BGBuddy... Don't want to start a new "please make a workaround" or "just disable this known as stupid botbase" discussion, but for all of you reading this, be carefully using the BGBuddy that comes with HB...

I highly assume that something went wrong, during the time you didn't supervise your pc. PVP is the most difficult thing to bot. Even if the setup is/seems pretty easy, there is a lot that you can do wrong.

Using BGBuddy is like asking for a ban, doesn't matter if you watch it or not. The movement, the logic and the navigation just looks 100% bot-like. It's really garbage.
And yes, it's pretty retarded that they offer the service when most people using it are going to get banned within a couple of hours. You should do some research before using the bot tho.

Exactly. Only thing bg botting gets you is more player reports.

To remove BG buddy from the package would admit defeat for them. Its mind boggling however that they dont. Every new player immediately goes straight to that bot because gearing seems like it would be a piece of cake.

Even BG farmer is very noticable to veteran players, its slight movements can be easily identified and player reports get us.

Manual movement and careful use of a cr is the only way but even then sheesh.

BGs are a magnet for player reports if you don't put a little bit of time on the forums and customizing your Honorbuddy setup. If you leave it as default settings you'll look like every other lazy botter out there and get banned. I got 3 characters 700 iLevel in a few days by BG Botting with BG Farmer + Tuanha, I only botted during peak "Human Hours" for my Battlegroup and chose healers.

I do agree BGBuddy is garbage, and it's unfortunate that you have to buy the Bot and a new Botbase to get a good product.

This. If set up correctly BGFarmer with a good CR (I've used GladiatorSuite and Millz warlock) worked wonderfully. Just read through every setting, it is very good

Doesn't matter, I've used BGBuddy for hours straight too but it all depends on player reports. Not all players bother to report bots even though it's obvious, so it depends on how many reports you get so in the end it just comes down to pure luck.
However, the navigation and the entire logic behind BGBuddy is so bad that the average player can instantly tell just running out of the gate that you're botting. Therefore it is like asking for a ban, even though you might be lucky and not get reported.

Yes, BGFarmer is definitely alot better and the buddy team should honestly just pay Millz and implement it into the bot itself instead of using the shit show that is BGBuddy. Even though BGFarmer has slight issues with defended and capping flags (Millz have said he will look into it but he is prioritizing his routines right now.

But definitely you won't look too bot-like if using BGFarmer with a good routine such as Millz, gladiator suite, vitalic, etc). It still does look bot it won't get you instant reported.

If you decide to bot it's always your fault, that's how it is BUT also it is really dumb that right after you buy the "Best available 3rd party Bot for the game" (check the main page) then you HAVE to buy a botbase for even more than the cost of the actual Bot just to not get banned, amaze me how BgBuddy haven't receive a major update in YEARS.

This is the big problem right here...They aren't doing enough to update one of the default botbases we have. They expect people to buy a store product to replace their clearly inferior one. It's a win-win for the HB team.

True story... But okay for me, i use HB since 2009 or something... Bought BGFarmer in 2015 to be more safe.
Still it's necessary to walk through all settings carefully and i also only BG Bot during peak hours, to make sure i don't have too many BGs with the same players.
Normally i also don't use the "auto equip" option to let my toons die quickly if they're fighting. So all the blame goes like "damn low equip noob"...
Well, the last toons i did autoequip to help the team... let's say i decide this day by day, but normally i think it's safer (low equip) vs. faster (good equip = good team support).
As healer normally the bot tops any other healer in the BG so with good equip it's a good support while unfortunately the in fight behaviour is not really human like, so always i see the bots fighting i'm afraid everyone notice what's going on.

you guys are lucky this bot is even being sold for this low of price. you can profit from this bot so much its incredible. sure its been detected but as of right now its not and you can bot 24/7 unless you get player reports. also the $25 bucks for the botbase bgfarmer is well worth the money especially since everything is a one time purchase. btw you all need to look at it like this. what would you be doing with your time if you didnt have the bot? youde be sitting there grinding out hours and hours of lvls and gold farming but guess how much money you can make at your work while this shit is running? I setup a farm and work and get like an extra thousand a month from botting to go spend at the bars. tell me how this isnt the best public bot.

I geared , 6 alts full 700 ilvl, only with HB, and never been banned, no CR / No profiles, only BGbuddy, but yeah it looks pretty obvious, but bot only the night then it will be 90% of bots with you so less reports , only had 1ban since i use HB, it was on MoP when i farmed ores from months and months...
