" string hax lua error " Perma ban account closed

2 of my account got banned after "string hax Lua error" message showed when I close HB , at first I wasnt sure it because of this , but now I pretty sure this is the cause after my 2nd acocunt got closed with the same chronology like the first one.

can you fix this?? or do a thorough check on it ... thanks bossland

Not HBs fault.

That popped up because you got DCed when you got banned, and HB tried to access the LUA while it was not active (logging in).


HB is not detected.
 
You got banned and logged out, the error appeared as a result. The error was not the cause as no1knewsy says.
 
it's like this :

- HB still on, I logout to switch character , closed HB when on character select screen
- got string hax lua error on character slection screen
- logged in with other character
- couple mins later got dced
- cant login banned

It still happened while the DC was happening.

Did wow crash, or did it just go to the login screen?

If it crashed please upload the wow crash log, after of course editing it to remove account name/char name.
And the HB Log of this happening.


If it was something HB we need to know about it, and the logs will give us this information.



But again, over a 99.99999999999999999999x10[SUP]100[/SUP] % chance that it wasn't HB's fault.

That's because you went back to the char selection screen and HB was still running.
Read post above.
 
that error wont cause you to get banned...if yes..i got all my toons banned ages ago

yes, this doesnt happen before, I had the same error couple of times in my last 7 mnths botting, but maybe blizz has evolved their bot awareness ?
 
blizzard cant even detect the bots how to attract their awareness just by that error? lol

Actually you're wrong. it was HB's fault, he was botting with it. there for its HB's fault.. and yes HB held a gun to his head and made him use it.. it was his precious calling out to him . " please use me, and i'll reward you with all the riches you can think of. but on side note if you bot to long you will get banned.

But yea pretty sure someone reported you and blizz is just finally getting around to it. to many people botting these days and their ratting everyone out.
 
I get that at least once a day - every day for months now. If I want to switch toons or CCs, if I shut down HB first, it will crash Wow every time... but if I choose to log out of Wow first, and then shut down HB, about 1/2 of the time I'll just get an LUA error but will still be at the character screen, so I can just load a toon and then start up HB. So... if that caused bans, I would have been banned many, many times by now... ;)
 
I get that error all the time and I'm not banned.

It has nothing to do with why you got banned. The true reason: A player reported you for botting.
