People are reporting bans.

Several different factors to go on, my main was banned, however several others were not. Main was ranked top 50 in his class through out majority of the season, the others were not. Also, the main was only in play prior the tripwire event, of which seems an interesting thing.

Seems to me don't go on leader boards and your a lot safer than going on them, you wont be safe but defo safer

Been botting ~20 hours per day for the past 2-3 weeks (after last tripwire). No ban here.

- Season
- Paragon ~800
- No friends
- No public games
- No clans
- No communities

From what we know, both season and non-season are receiving bans regardless of leaderboard status. The question is: is this a result of the last tripwire (of which I wasn't around for)? It should be easy to disprove this theory.

It's completely random. At this point, everyone is botting, so they just roll random number and ban.

I did not get banned. Casually botting this season compared to last season - currently 1k paragon.

Last season I was banned but i was rank 28 on barb solo. I think being on the leaderboard attracts a lot more attention.

Yep. I got banned.

Now I can watch a movie, read a book, go out with friends, and have a life. Wonderful!

The whole idea/purpose of botting is so you can do all that, and still get stuff in-game.

How on earth can you be paragon 800 if you're botting ~20 hours a day?

I guess for some folks like me, botting doesn't mean just grinding out GRs for EXP. It can be botting bounties, crafting mats, ubers etc. For me I don't care about the leaderboards too much. I just want awesome ancient gear with good stats. So I just bot Reusable Parts until I get about 50,000 total then convert several stacks to Arcane Dusts and Veiled Crystals.

Then for DBs, I just use the Wiz to farm some up and that's all. It's all very time consuming though in my attempt to obtain near perfect gear.

HAHAHAHAH, maybe extremely ill setup.

I botted for my brother about 7 days from zero, it's already 700.

Then I my own account paragon 2000 was banned few days ago. Hope my brother's account survive. :)
