Pc upgrade help :)

Hey guys so I was thinking about upgrading my pc a little with some money iv got for my birthday but I have no idea what I should get I was thinking maby a new gfx card and some more ram but nothing to ott with the price ? I was hoping to be able to play Diablo 3 comfortably after iv currently got

Windows 7 home 64 bit
Amd Athlon 2 x3 425 triple core processor
3gb ddr3 ram
500gb hard drive
Ati radeon hd4250 graphics

What's your budget? I'd definitely say upgrade your GPU first. Maybe the HD 6770 if you're in that price-class?

Priority list - GPU > CPU > RAM

your processor is fine,i m using one,RAM though to try to get it to 4Gb and most important is GPU,get HD6770 or cheaper one hd 6670 is fine. I have built 4-5 computer using hd 6670.

Nope,get the DDR5 version,that one you mentioned is a little slow.

the best option would be to replace it with 4gb(2x2 sticks or equivalent) ram dual channel kit. However if you are on budget,just add another 2gb x 1 stick or 4g x 1 stick ram.

There are 2x 4gb sticks of ram on eBay for ?20 so I was thinking of getting them ?

yeah sure 4x2 sticks,make sure both sticks have same speed,timing so u can dual channel it and double the memory bandwith.
