[PB] Toney's (very basic) TSM-Based AH Bot Profile

Hey.

I've found the modified .lua files, but I can't for the life of me figure out what they actually do. Do they combat the anti botting feature of tsm?(where you have to input numbers)

Reason im asking, is I have a extensive list of groups for TSM already set up, and I wouldnt wanna do anything that might change/delete it.

They remove the anti-bot, make the search buttons clickable by the bot, make the bot able to detect when it's done scanning and how many times to click the post/cancel button.
Installing them won't change any of your TSM settings.

Im at loss now. Just figured out I forgot one file, the TradeSkillMaster\Remote.lua. I can't find this anywhere, and I can't understand what to do with the file Feup made(botah.xml). It almost feels like the TradeSkillMaster\Remote.lua was removed from FEUP's post, any help?

I am trying to find the remote.lua file also. The only file i do see when following the links is botah.xml. Dandy can you share what you figured out with that?

Had this just about figured out yesterday before maintenance, but today I can't even get the bot to open the AH at all.......any ideas?

I see some ArchBuddy stuff in there that shouldn't be. My guess is you didn't change the secondary botbase like I said in the first post. Try that.
Also, re-svn PB just in case.

To the rest of the people with issues: I just tried this with the latest revision of PB and it works perfectly fine. You're all doing something wrong.
I strongly suggest you go back to the first post, read it VERY carefully and try again. The problem is on your end.
Unfortunately, I can't teach anyone to follow simple directions.

Started having issues with this too today. It posts all fine, but when it goes to the mailbox after cancelling, it wont go back to the auctioneer. Just stands there for ages.

Maybe an addon interfering? I let it run for a good 5-6 hours last night and had no issue whatsoever, so I know that's not it.
Try disabling every addon but those that are needed to run this. Have you tried restarting HB? Close and re-open?
Load the profile from bot config so you know for sure it's loaded.
Do you have the latest revision of PM installed?

The profile is extremely simple, I know that's not a problem, so try narrowing the posible problems down on your end.

I just svned the Professionbuddy again and now it doesn't even interact with the auctioneer. It walks to it, but doesn't open the AH window. Can someone who has this script working zip and upload his professionbuddy for testing?

Try a clean install maybe? I'm using the latest revision (unless there's been a new one in the last 4-5 hours) and it's been running smoothly all evening.

I do not understand how some people can't get this to run
I wish I could help you, but I really can't say anything other than do a clean install and follow the steps again. There's nothing wrong on mine, I don't have anything to fix

EDIT: I could understand if the TSM part wasn't working for someone due to failure to correctly set it up, but moving to the auctioneer and interacting with it is a very basic and generic PB command.
If it's not even opening the AH interface then that's DEFINITELY either an HB or PB issue. Make sure you disable any addon that's not TSM, Lib: Ace 3 and Lib: Stub (I use ArkInventory and it has no issue with it, so if you use it, you can leave that on too).

I believe I read somewhere that number one, two and on were D1, D2, D3... I doubt that's the problem. Like I said, I'm running it just fine. But if you wanna try that, go ahead.
I know for a fact that some people are having issues with KeyboardManager altogether (including Inrego, who's the guy that pretty much made the code for this), even when using it for something else.
Try reporting it in the PB thread so Highvoltz can take a look?

Does it start scanning fine on it's own? Have in mind the profile doesn't post/cancel until the scan is actually finished, not as soon the button pops up. If you have tons of stuff to post this can take a min or two.

Hi, yes it was popping up the AH window and also started to scan, but it stayed there forever.
Now I just did a complete fresh install of TSM but still running with the old PB version and it works!
Maybe messed something up when I copied the hack files?! But then it wouldn't have worked manually I guess?! Anyway, great profile and thanks for your support

I'm glad you got it working! Could have been a number of things that went wrong. If you missed Inrego's files then the scan detection wouldn't have worked.
But what matters is that you made it work so now, enjoy!

the profile doesnt work for me if i svn update to the latest version of PB it won't interact with the auctioneer NPC even thought it has it targeted, have disabled all addons except the relevant ones

I dont have much items to post, so i cut down cancel time to each 5 minutes. Question is what number i can change in profile so it stand less time near mailbox, since if i cancel so often i got like 100-150 items on ah only and bot stand here liek ages w8 for nothing after he got all from mailbox.

post time and cancel time is something you don't need to change. Thanks to the edited TSM files I provided, the bot can detect when it's done scanning and will start clicking the post/cancel buttons as soon as the scan is done.
