why does everybody love SVN that much? ( is there an updating feature i don't know about? )

yes, once the creator has upadted a profile, plugin, or w/e s/he got in there, he can upload it to the SVN and you can update your folder so you get the latest versions of it
 
there are some more benefits ...
u have a version control feature and if a problem occurs at anytime u can do a diff betwen two versions to see what have changed (what file, what line and so on), u don't have to mess with many different copies of something at your harddrive

the user can update everytime via the client wihout checking the forum
users can provide patchfiles to you for optimizing profiles / plugins / whatever and don't have to send u code snippets with a tutorial how to change your files and so on :)

there are many features, but it was only a suggestion, it's not a must have :)

Is it possible to add also mining support to this profile? As i am a herbalism/mining char, it would be nice if he could also gather all mins on this route. Thx for this profile going to test it today

Edit: seems broken flys for and back all the time in deepholm :( Same as another user reported allready in this threat. No idea why, there are no herbs to gather there only 2 mines

For now this profile remains untouched since i dont have a char with herb and mining i won't add mining
 
And what is abbout the error from flying for and back all the time? it doesnt farm herbs like this. Only fly for and back at the same point
 
IF its possible could you do a 2nd version, that uses vashjiir instead of deepholm to farm herbs?

seVen, you should add a few setting, or try to, of where they can go, and possibly let them use their own custom xml (which might already do).
But say choose 2 or more zones, each contained in themselves to go to the area, load the XML they provide, or yours if they don't provide one, farm it, then head back, then depending on settings load the next profile.

Hey! Don't go about and give my ideas to other ppl! :P jk - you couldn't know and it might be some time before I have time to make it ^^
 
all early downloaders and dislikers redownload, should work propperly now
 
I'm wondering why this profile doesn't get more downloads oQ, also i'm open for new requests since the fishing and cooking profile is paused.
 
suggestion:
can add profiles for

- Azshara'S Veil (shimmering expanse,abyssal depth,mount hyjal)
- Stormvine (Mount Hyjal,Abyssal Depth,shimmering expanse)

This would be awesome, since u gather all the herbs needed in cata :)
 
Edit: requestet a Questprofile for the Seahorse mount if everything works as intended you guys will see this profile updated

I get stuck flying back and forth in a small area (The Quaking Fields) in deepholm without farming anything

Hmm... Seems deactivating profession buddy does the thing... So it's not a Profile error? or?

I don't get stuck at this certain location so i don't really know how i could help you, but ima recheck the profile as soon as i get around to it.


If possible give me the location ( the x y z ) where this happens.
