this si how i feel.... Seven...dude...buddy.... he never stole anything from you he just created some alittle more robust than what you had... no biggies you will come out with something else and so will he... if it wasn;t for him you wouldn;t even have PB so please stop with the QQ and honestly I like your work but this QQ has to stop man for real.

i feel the same way, he did NOT steal your work, he wrote all the script himself without any of your work. just because me and fpsware have mage CC's you dont see me QQ'ing that he stole my work.
so from here on out, if you wanna make more posts attacking Highvoltz then ill just give you a 3 day suspension from the forums, its up to you. Move on, or take a vacation.

this is how i feel.. just make the jewelcrafting profile 1-525 for the horde. and i'll bring cookies, milk, and some cheese with wine . not whine :-)
 
what it comes down to is, if your going to develop, then develop, if not then dont.

me and fpsware have been competing (at least i call it competing) in making that dam mage CC almost from day 1 of honorbuddy. he would write something id strive to make something better, and back and forth like that. just because you have competition dosnt mean people wont appciate your effort, specialy when it comes to profiles. even though kick has some awesome profile killakaz and Nuok and countless others still make profiles and they get a lot of use.

theres plenty of room for everyone to make whatever projects they want.
so if you wanna develop and write profiles then do it.
if you dont then dont. no one is forcing you.

also when you don't bash the other person who has figured out the code to get around an issue you cannot figure out or makes an easier way to code something the other person as long as you are friendly and sociable to wards him/her will usally work with you but SeVen I am sure has torched his bridge with Highvoltz... gl to ya Seven look forward to your work
 
was tailoring just added? i would have voted for that if it was there sooner, or did i just over look it? :D
 
tbh if I release something and someone else releases something better (either if he had ideas that I didn't come up with, or if he could make something that I wasn't able to figure out), I'm happy for them. Of course if they use some of my work I expect them to mention it. I don't expect 1 dev to come up with all the ideas etc by himself, so if I make something that someone else can use for a great idea or improve upon it, I'm happy - because in the end it just ends up in better profiles/CC's/whatever.

I believe in working together to achieve great, instead of competing. It's not like a company where you need to compete to improve your income, is it?

Besides, can you really get mad because the guy that designed the tool you're using came up with something more sophisticated? I wouldn't feel worse about myself... He knows it backwards.
Might feel like you wasted your time, but all in all, I bet you had fun doing it. And it's not like you did a bad job, quite the contrary.

You can always put your skill to use doing something else. This for example.

Can we drop this now? i see everyone has had a say (or at some points more then just a say) in there opinion of how SeVeN handled him self. but lets try to keep the thread on topic.

:P, i wanna change my vote from engineer to tailor because im getting ready to work on my tailor (she is like 20 points to 300)

he can make a new thread if he wishes to continue development.
