Hey there!
I've been eyeballing your profile for a while now and finally decided to try it out.
It works great, - it buys materials, prospects/disenchants them and all that.
However, I figured selling raw gems wouldn't create a big profit so I tried setting it up to make Gems and enchants that sells well on my server.
The problem i'm running into now is that it sometimes runs out of Ethereal Shards which is a key material in many enchants.
Have i done something wrong?

I've attached an imgur with screenshot of which items I've asked the bot to make and sell.

I could imagine I've created some form of material jam where the bot tries to make something I've told it to use for something else, - i just cant seem to find the problem.

Hey

Does it run out of Ethereal Shard or Mysterious Essence ?
If Ethereal Shard is set to true, it will use all available Mysterious Essence to create it.
I'm planning to make an update so it will use only half of available essence instead of all of it, like I did before with Spirit Dust

If you want more ethereal shards, you can set to true "Disenchant Reflection of the Sea" It will use River's Heart and Serpent's Eye to create that necklace and disenchant it into Ethereal Shard

Hey Neyder,
It seems like a couple of restarts solved the problem somehow.
However, I've noticed that the bot makes around 1000g and then it just buys ore for it all and starts over again.
I assume this is how it's done but would you suggest any changes to the items i've checked to 'true' in order to create a bit more profit?
 
It really depend of your realm.
Check prices on AH and make some tests the first day (to check what sells better).
If you have time, better to have motes of harmony to do more researches, and also for creating Primordial Diamond.
In any case, 6-8k spent for mat per day is good, that's why the first days you will not make a lot profit, cuz you can't buy enough ore.
Usually, with right settings, you will do at least the double of what you spent for ore.

First of all thank you for this amazing piece of coding! :-)

It's running well - doing all it is supposed to. But it's just not making any money. I have changed some things in the code myself (increased minimum BO for gems to 50g and for enchants to 35g) because when i started running it i just kept loosing money, and i figured it was due to the many many auctions i posted with very low BO. You mention in the beginning that we should not sell for less than 50-60g, so i changed it to 50g for gems minimum.

I have let it run through the night this night - and it has made about 0 gold. I have attached log and settings in ur profile - i simply cant figure out what i am doing wrong... Had to zip the log because it was too large.

I am on Alliance side on a very high populated EU realm. I do not have that many rescipies but am working to get more.

Hope you can help me.

Most people sleep during the night. you might want to consider doing it in the evening or something.

Thanks alot for the profile! For the most part it runs beautifully. I have been having a couple minor problems though, that reading through the posts, I haven't found a solution for.

-Once the bot gets done with its round, it says, "waiting to start over" Does that mean that every time I want it to recheck for undercuts I have to stop, and then restart the bot?

-For some reason the bot isn't using all of the enchanting mats. It will get done cutting gems, crafting greens, disenchanting, but when it gets all the enchanting mats (of which I have a PLETHORA) it makes like 1 of each enchant and leaves the rest of the mats there. It will then proceed to sell everything then stop and say "waiting to start over." Then I will stop the bot and restart, it will check for undercuts, do the AH thing, then consolidate mats again, and craft more enchants. I have to do this procedure 3 or 4 times before it finally makes all of the enchants it can with the mats.

-The other issue I had, is possibly a bag space issue, but the bot would do its thing, and get to where it says "waiting to start over" and I would look at my bags, and for some reason it would leave a bunch of green gems that could have been crafted into necks. I would then stop the bot, go buy more Jewler setting manually, restart the bot and it would finish off the remaining green gems.

waiting to start over its the spam protection of the profile, at default when all process its completed it wait for 10 mins. You can modify it on "AFK Time" option, but its not recomendable, or he stay working all the time, then you look suspicious, about enchant mats, he reserve some mats for the next process, same with jc he reserve some greens for next process, just dont press the stop button and start again, let him work, it has perfect logic, so configure what do you want to cut, and what enchants / enchants mats, the afk time between process, and how many stacks of ore you want to take before each process start. The rest its his work, dont disturb him :P
 
Really a big TY for this profile :) were using this last night on high pop eu server and made about 8k in like 2? H.
Will for sure try it out some more.

Can you add to not cancel the undercut ah in menu pl, would be amazing :)
 
could you make it stand and do stuff in a more discrete location for orgrimmar? (or maybe dalaran support?)
 
I'm not planning for now.

In fact Orgrimmar or Stormwind are so populated, that no one will look at you. In an empty locations, like Dalaran, people will more easily notice you, cuz you are the only guy there, and you are doing same thing for hours. I don't think it's a good idea. There is always a few guy passing in old cities.
