[PB][H] Tailoring 1-600 - Farm

Any plans to implement a AH buy ( buy all Cloth Stacks <X Gold ) before the toon goes out for farming? Maybe saves some time in grinding?

Isnt the whole purpose of the profile to reduce crafting costs by farming all cloth?
 
Having issue with looting like several others in this thread.

I tried running the profile without Profession Buddy, just using the Questing bot and the profile looted just fine like any other profile... so clearly there is some issue with Profession Buddy. I have attached a log running profession buddy and it not looting, hopefully this can help shed light on the situation.

As Option to skill the Profession faster. I think there is not enough Clothes in AH to do all Skills with AH, so it needs grinding as well.

this is an interesting point.

yes, i could write it so that it would look at the AH for available cloth of the desired type, purchase it, use it, and then farm for the remainder.

yes, the main idea with this profile is to farm the mats, thereby saving $$ from purchasing off the AH.

but the real deal, TBH, was to learn how to code a bit, and level MY tailoring to 600. both of which have been done. furthermore, my account for botting was banned, with my horde tailor, my ally tailor, and my 2 testbed tailors... which means, that for the time being anyways, i am done with this profile...

now, if someone wants to throw $35 my way, i'll get this finished within a week or three, for alliance anyways, including support for mailing all crafted items to DE'er... for the toggle for AH purchasing (or not), it would probably take a fairly major rewrite to accomplish. which isnt to say that it can't be done, but just that it would take alot of work and testing to implement it properly.

if i was a millionaire, i would absorb the costs myself, just for the fun and learning of doing it, but i am not. i can't afford another bot account atm, and i am not going to risk my main account by botting.

if anyone would like help/support making these options available, i am more than willing to give whatever guidance i can about the coding that would be needed, you can reach me at wabu.1977 on skype.
 
Hearthed in 2moons, my lock decides to not take the portals and fly from pandaland himself.
Any ideas?
 
Is this PB Profile dead? Hope no ... got stuckings with the latest HB Version. Toon wants to create Bolt of Line Cloth but got not enough Line Cloth to do, so it trys endless to go with the msg. not enough line cloth.

any progress of the alliance part?
 
For me it crashed after a while, but i think its a PB related issue, not the Profile. I run this Profile before 5.2 and it works mostly perfect!
 
not sure if it is a bug on the profile itself, CC or HB, but to farm embersilk, i need to do it manually because the bot never gets aggroed on the mobs, i just have to make a rain of fire, SoC or hellfire to grab them.
 
please tell me that this profile isn't abandoned. It would be awesome to still exist. =/
 
Oh man I hope this gets updated. I don't see any other tailoring scripts for profession buddy. I was so hoping to level this so I could make cheap bags for all my alts. :(
 
First of all: Thank you so much for all your hard work and effort.
Saldy im having some problems with the bot. Im using professionbuddy for my tailoering, and atm Im supposed to farm embersilk in deepholm. But my bot only attacks a single mob, and only a specefic one. It ignores all other mobs and after it has killed the mob it targets, it just stands there for up to 4-5 min before moving agin - I think it has something to do with the bot getting into combat, and not being able to go on because mobs are fighting eachother close by.

I tryed to reinstall HB and update using SVN. Any help would be very welcome.
ALso my english is HORRIBLE! Im so sorry about that.

I did try and do a search on the forum to see if anyone had the same problem, but sadly I was unable to come up with a solution.
