[PB] advanced TSM AH bot profile

The older version doesn't work for me, and neither does the new version.
 
Hi, I got an issue, but no idea where from.

My symptomes is that it does not post. It collect all mail, no problem, but not posting anything and therefore, not cancelling anything.
When the toon is opening the AH, no scan is happening neither.

Please help.

I will say this, with either version I think he gave ample, accurate directions.

I finally got the old profile to work by going to a place with a straight shot to the AH and mailbox, the only problem left to tweak was that I didn't make my hotspot close enough to the mailbox and after hitting my hotspot, it tried to move on to the default one, which caused some weird behavior and a very noticeable stuck.

Still some tweaking to do on my end, but at least I know how to now!
 
I have done the following :

1? install the latest version of Trade Skill Master
2? Install the latest version of Trade Skill Master Mailbox
3? Install the .bat in the folder Trade Skill Master (in wow/interface/addon)
4? I have run the .bat (modification), it has done something then the dos command window disappear
5? I have start WoW + HB
6? In HB, I selected Profession Buddy - click onto BOT CONFIG then open the PB TSM botv0.11.xml
7? I have click START on the HB

Then after, the toon start the cancel items cycle, go the AH, open the windows, cancel nothing as there is nothing to cancel, go to the mailbox, open it, receive it all, place items in the bags, then start
the posting cycle, go to the AH, then open the Windows, then do nothing, then go back to the mailbox, if I still have some mail, otherwise, it will wait 900 sec before next cancel item cycle, etc...

Any help please ?
 
It does work with the version that was activce the very day I commented. As far as I know its the newest. I deleted all my, tsm folders, redownloaded the lastest version, put the bat file in my wow addons forlder and clicked it. I went into wow opened tsm fixed my cathegories and groups. set the F1 and F2 macro binding and its working just fine for me.

Have you actually configured the addon itself to do what its supposed to do? I think your problem is not the bot and profile but rather the tsm addon itself is not configured. Search youtube for how to make "tsm groups"

Can I ask you which TradeSkillMaster add-on I need ? juste the main TradeSkillMaster + TradeSkillMasterMailbox or something else ?
When in the game I type /TSM, I only got one icon, Mailbox....

I had the very same problem you want to fix and therefore I know exactly how much you want the bot to work like a human for you. So I have edited the profile for you so that may save you time :) Make sure to be in UC next to "Auctioneer Stockton" before running this or the bot will just walk into walls and act really stupid :p (note that I recommend you to eventually edit the file so that you have your own little place that no other bot uses. Im planning of making a profile for thunderbluff, org and silvermoon and alternate between them provided the profile keeps working)

Well for one you need the one that actually does the auctioning. Called tsm auctioning or something like that. why dont you get them all? And you have to learn how to use it. Its not the easiest addon to set up. so learn about it on youtube and other guides before using this bot and profile :) As I said your problem is not the bot but the addon :)
 
Ok, I have watched a youtube tutorial and understand how to create for example a main catherogy :

HERBALISME
* Cinderbloom

Main category is HERBALISM
and group is Cinderbloom

I saw all setting to select minimum price, maximum, number of stack, etc...

After done all this, my toon is doing the same as explain, not posting anything...
 
As you told me via pm, you don't have any key bindings set. I think you need to carefully go over this thread, as all the basic info will get the bot working right if the problem isn't what bootdude said.

And thanks again bootdude, I'll be giving that a try later, and will try to get something working on the various other auctioneers (as I have a few ah toons that I want in various places).
 
Hi all,

very new to AH botting, but resorting to it due to being undercut all the time! Do i need to completely configure TSM first (setting groups / prices etc) before i can use this or just install the TSM and modify it like you said at the beginning?

Tsm needs to be configured, otherwise it won't know what you're trying to sell. Check the stormspire forums for an easy intro guide

The red colored numbers need to be changed to whatever the hotspot you want to use of course. Just basicly stand next to the auctioneer as you would normally do and get that hot spot. You can do the same type of edit to the mailbox location so that it moves to your hotspot before using the closest mailbox. That should fix it if you have problems at both the ah place and the mailbox place.

I tried to make it as clear as possible so most people can understand hopefully :)

Do you think you could just delete the underlined part altogether? I may try that just to see what happens.

Thats actually what I did when I first edited it but it just wouldnt interact with the auctioneer. Maybe one should add a line for it to interact with that auctioneer but like I said Im really really new to all of this so I havent even bothered to do research on how to do that since it just worked for me :) But I might look into it. And when I do I'll inform you as well.


PS everyone! I wanted to inform you that the version of tsm Im using is v1.1.6 and its working for me so Im not going to update to latest until this one stops working basicly.
 
I have re-tested the latest modify file (05.23) with the latest TSM version, all works fine!

One problem might be is that you guys don't revert back all TSM addons, after an update. Only then you should apply the modify.bat
 
Do i need to delete in wtf/account/variables/tsm files every time i install new version,i have such huge lists of categories and what i sell that would be pain to write them again ?
