didn't have troubles with selling my items on the RMAH, but since some days i always need the sms code for every item...

that wasn't needed for about 2 or 3 months...

Anyone else got the same troubles? Maybe a password change helps?

greets

Same happened to a friend of mine...sms code was required for all 10 items he put up on the RMAH so i guess you are not alone in this.
He said it was all back to normal after he switched his status from 'busy' to available' ( lol ... right?! )

ok.
*hm*
my status is always "available" - it must be something else that leads to this "problem"...

same here, happens with almost every item, some lower priced ones seem to go through without sms

yes, some items work, but most do not work anymore without sms... since 1 week...

*hm* the funny thing is that the sms was only possible with my girlfriends provider/number. My provider detects the blizzard sms as spam -.-
so i also have to bother my girlfriend that i need here handy when i wanna sell something

so if anyone got a solution for this please let me know...

Change provider :P

This issue is occurring for me also. However here's the funny part:

1. If you wait for about 2 minutes at the SMS screen the page goes away and your item actually gets posted on the AH.

2. Press cancel & post it again somehow the authentication is not needed then..

Blizz blizz.. :D

They ask each time because your flagged as bot :D

Now that i made that joke, i will join the bandwagon and say that i am spammed allot too. Its quite annoying since it involves allot of sim card swapping.
I found out that it is not because your selling a item for allot of for few euros, doesn't matter if you posted a item with code 10 sec ago too.

What i have noticed though is that if i have a stable(real IP) and i don't clear registry and info about my diablo 3 client and so on and so on i don't get asked.
I found out that when i was boting on a single IP on 1 acc with no "security" measures. Now that i have more than 1 acc i got spammed.

So i believe that client/server/game connect your account with some parameters(IP,hardware,registry...) they use to associate accounts with users.

This is what i believe, i have no prove that this is the case, as no one really knows how they do it. All is speculations.

*hm*
i only sell on 1 account via RMAH. the question is if this annoying sms stuff will be solved by itsself if i wait long enough or if it's better to change something... like the ip (i have a static one), the phone number, the password... ?

so everyone here also got the same problem since some days?

Ye, it has been reported on the D3 forum also. Of course we cannot know if they also r botting ;p

Press cancel and try again. Usually it doesn't ask SMS verification on the 2nd time.

sometimes it works, but i also had the sms verification 2 or 3 times for the same item (or gold) :(

i really hope it's just an error on blizzards side...

seems weird. sometimes i can post an item for 50 euros with no problem, some other time my 2 million gold auction needs verification(for testing purposes). seems like an error to me from their part

there is also a weird discussion if the sms has to be paid by the seller? and how much?

Just posted 10 auctions, 6 times it asked for SMS confirmation. Just great...

I just started getting this today. I have never had to enter SMS verification, since I enabled RMAH months ago... Quite annoying.

Another thing, I'm not getting emails for items sold in RMAH. Anyone else?
