you would think so, except i have 4 new ones ready to go as soon as the tripwire is lifted. they did remove my paypal from my bnet account, but i just had to readd it.

This is a great way to get your account flagged and all future accounts banned.

*shrug* worst thing that happens is these get banned and im out the money i was already out and just have to start over on a new account. I really dont see any issue here.

Except all of your personal and payment information being flagged by blizzard and your accounts being banned before the payment even goes through.

*shrug* again, if it happens it happens.

edit forgot about this: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I charged back over $600 in WoW tokens. felt like I got a partial pay day. it was nice.

louevil now you have to come back in a few months and tell them you want your account back it was hacked :)

I successfully charged back 6 months of WoW time via paypal on multiple accounts. Blizzard does not dispute charges because it is not worth the money to do so. The thing is that you paid for it, and it was not delivered. I would suggest contacting WoW asking for a prorated refund. If they do not give it to you, then do a charge back via paypal. State that you tried to contact the company, give logs etc. It is a sure win in your favor since they will not contest it.

Another angle is to tell paypal you forgot about the recurring charge and have not used the service in x amount of months. They will refund that too.

Lastly you can say it was an unauthorized charge, except the burden is more on you for that.

I hope for all your sake your not in countries that will prosecute this as criminal financial fraud of they decide to pursue it since all this info and posting here is proof of conduct and intent to defraud a business. Just a little heads up as ell cause I am sure people are sending these things to blizzard as well as evidentiary proof and there are no laws against that

Yes perhaps so but here in the US you would have been violating a legally binding contract and as such are committing financial fraud by requesting bogus charge backs. Now if your in a country where this might not apply then I dont see a issue but that is up to each locals laws

Wrong again, you paid for a service, you violate the contract you agreed to, to use such service. Legally speaking your not entitled to a refund atleast here int eh US unless a court has ruled that the particular section of the ToS are no legal or enforceable. Once again this is up to a court determination. Or perhaps they are not fighting the charges but that is up to them

Perhaps so I dont have an idea of how many people they may have or able to do all the information or if they are even responding back to the charge backs I just know its a very legal grey area if they do decide to do so since each instance of such could be construed as intent to defraud

I know that they are responding as the email from paypal states that they spoke with blizzard on this and received the information from their side.

I very very highly doubt that as its been less then 24 hrs and no way in hell could they be required to respond in such a short manner usually time to respond is 72 hrs so they might be just predone letters and blizzard hasn't responded yet

This works with any debit/credit card company as well, they always favor the CUSTOMER over the BUSINESS.

It mainly works for virtual/non tangible items.

Yes but if they respond back who knows the outcome but its nto for sure how that will go

Mine were before the ban wave, it took about 7 days to get response from blizzard. Hilariously I got the final resolution on the day of the banwave which is why I decided to share.
