Useful info! I should buy their crap with PayPal from now on so when this happens.

you would think so, except i have 4 new ones ready to go as soon as the tripwire is lifted. they did remove my paypal from my bnet account, but i just had to readd it.

Do you think banks for debit would do this too?
I tried to save the paypal fees and paid with debit =/ guess who saved a few dollars? This guy...

How do you dispute this in PayPal? The only thing I found was to say the payments to blizzard were unauthorized. That is what I have currently opened right now. I don't want to change anything to complicate things but I didn't know you could open a dispute because of "incomplete duration"

What did you write in the additional relevant information tab so that they believe me ?

So different story. Came back little over a month ago. Bought WoD, transferred a few toons off old account, bought some games, in all spent about $225. Got the ban email today. I am over it. Screw Blizzard. I just called and told them I didnt authorize use of my paypal account. They refunded me the cash and closed the accounts. So you could try that way.

yep chargeback ftw, won quite a few back when they ban or suspend your account, just say they failed to supply the game including time you paid for. After a while pp tells you about too many chargebacks so you just open a new one.

is this long term tho? Like can you keep charging back blizz each month (assuming blizz bans your accounts within a month) for long? Will paypal say you had to many charge backs?

Everyone should really do this. It would be a nice retort to Blizzard's ban 'em and keep their money policy.

i just thought about doing that. i paid quite a bit for wow got a month gametime and a legion upgrade + 2 cr's i wont be using anymore. worst thing that can happen is they can claim the money back right? just dont wanna get into trouble...

the worst they will do is lock the account asking you to pay for what you charged back before they unlock it.

i opened up disputes for gametime and an account i bought as a backup, which didn't have a bot on it but banned it anyway, canceled my legion pre-order, i'll reassess wow again after my year and a half ban. Next expansion will probably be announced and final Legion patch in by then, because blizzard likes milking the players and gives less and less content with each expansion.

What those people on the wow forum thread are not noticing is that mine is closed, the investigation is completed and the money is in my account.

I opened an unauthorized dispute yesterday. Do you know how long it roughly takes to be taken care of?

Thanks!
