Paypal Chargeback experience.

unfortunately you won't get back your money, because it states in paypal, you can't sell virtual items, and he is probably going to put that in his statement. there are 3 options if you are going to do a trade again. either 1. include in the trade a real item to be shipped, so that there is proof of shipment, and purchase, or 2. tell the buyer to wait 60 days before he gets the account info XD. 3. or tell him to sign papers, and send a photo id.
Good luck!

Send them a post card with the account info (which you will of course provide first via msn or whatever). Take photo of the package so they can't say you didn't send it. In essence sell physical goods instead of virtual... You can't do anything now about the money you lost.

This is the way to do it. If you send a physical item they cannot charge especially if you have postage proof etc of sending it. Don't bother doing any deals with people if they don't want to give you their full name, location, and do a phone verification. That's how I deal with it. :)

I've been on the other end, I ordered a powerleveling service (long before I knew I could just bot it myself) and the account got suspended, then banned all while they were leveling. I asked for a refund, they denied and kept asking me to give them a new account... I only got a partial refund, due to lack of funds in the leveler's paypal account. I never saw the rest of it.

I think that paypal can't pull funds out of your bank acount if you get charged back, but they can and do take funds out of the paypal balance, which is why I don't store any money in paypal. I've even heard of people using a completely separate bank account that has a zero balance just to protect themselves from paypal transactions.

i once had this happen, i just made a new vanilla account and they level it up.

I had someone dispute me once about a month ago.. I even gave paypal the tracking # and everything.. I had an email from the guy saying it worked and thanks through Ebay (which they own)..

Somehow they still gave him his $80 back.. I was like what in the fuck.

adding another post to confirm that paypal WILL NOT take money out of your bank account if you lose a dispute.. they absolutely will not.

You will have a negative balance.. and you wont be able to remove your cc or bank account info. But, you can just open a new paypal account and continue as normal.. its a bit of a hassle but thats how it works.
