Patch Tommorrow. Fixes "Gold and Leveling Exploits"

Well tomorrow's patch can either be awesome, or be bad.

First off we have "Unique Monsters are not dropping the appropriate loot." Maybe Sark will drop better rares =)

Then we have "Gold and Leveling Exploits Fixed"

I wonder if they are talking about bots, or dupes, or quest duping, or what they are talking about?
 
the gold/xp exploit most likely refers to the quest repeating people are doing to power level
 
Hard to say, the questing exploits didn't really give much gold so I don't know what they mean by that. If they nerf Sark there is going to be a lot of pissed of non-botter's, and I think if they wanted to nerf Sark they would have done it already. Anyways won't we find out after Asia patches? Or do they patch last?
 
We should keep in mind Blizzard is saying "Exploit". For example, is it an exploit to farm ZK over and over again? No. Is it an exploit to switch in and out with a level 60 to hit level 60 in a few hours? Yes. Is it an exploit to kill Sarkoth over and over? No. Is it an exploit to repeat a bugged quest for gold? Yes.

We'll see. Honestly, I'm tired of the lack of transparency from D3 patch notes.
 
who really knows, we are dealing with blizzard here afterall....tomorrow will tell the tale.

Equipped items will now take "wear-and-tear" durability damage at half the previous rate
Please note that durability loss as the result of normal combat is different from the 10% durability loss characters will incur when they die. Equipped items have always suffered durability loss while fighting, and we are simply slowing the rate at which the loss occurs.


Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug that was causing Unique monsters to not drop the appropriate amount of loot when slain

Fixed a bug with linking items with 3 gem sockets

It is no longer possible to create fake achievement links

Sarkoth getting nerfed: probably higher than 50% chance.
Sarkoth getting buffed in terms of items: probably lower than 50% chance

Gold/Leveling exploits is the ZK Bug. Allowed Leechers to get ~3mil xp/hr and ~300k gph. (2+ accounts)
 
I hope they just nerf ZK, raise Sarkoth item drop and don't touch gold drop. Meh.. i'm asking too much.
 
IF sarkoth get nerfed what would be hte next best spot for goldfarming... core of araet?
 
Last run acquired 4058 gold.

They somehow nerfed the gold.... I used to get atleast 10k gold/run!. Now i get ~5k!! (yesterday, the day before and last night) but this morning!

12% MS + Sprint ~55% MS
19k DPS

I used to get 460+GPH , STEADY after 3 hours of botting staying at 460k+ tilli stop it. Now i get 320kGPH barely! Same profile same setup. Dont freaking tell me they didnt do anything!.

I don't see them nerfing core. Core is only profitable because of the small area and amount of monsters in that area. Nerfing that would mean either nerfing monsters drops overall across the board or nerfing the amount of monsters in that area.

Nerfing sarkoth makes sense since its an NPC that shows up in the same location, does not engage combat, and drops ridiculous amounts of gold given the difficulty. It wasn't meant to be a location people went to a lot just like running past the skeletons and breaking breakables wasn't meant to happen. Core is reasonable - other locations are not.
