When I botted D3 there were always upswings in the economy when a big patch hit, it varied but sometimes the profit could triple or even more. Does the same thing usually happen in wow? Ive botted wow for about a month now and this is my first big patch so havent had any experience yet.

I hit up one of my buyers last night, offered .32

I told em to eat it.

I was just offered 0.25, count yourself lucky.

On the day of a big patch that's a joke and genuinely something I've never seen before in wow, guess shit is getting real.

Chinese are getting greedy,
you can just private sell for anywhere from .6-1.0 the chinese are just trying to bend all the botters over IMO

the problem is finding private people to sell to.

This is nothing new really. I really can't recall a major patch that did not impact economy. Botters provide a good portion of the products going into the AH so if the supply is impeded in anyway shape or form you would expect that demand being the same would cause less mats which will lead to higher prices. HB is a major bot in the game and none of HB users are contributing mats to the AH now and other bots are also struggling I suppose. A few years ago I use to stack mats for major patches and then sell. You can easily double sometimes triple your returns.

I found a $0.55 buyer within minutes of searching (EU servers). Honestly, it's not that hard. Just look at the marketplaces for all the major wow forums and you'll find a reasonable price.

Im selling all my stock since 2 weeks for 0.4? to a random chinese :)

prices are going to go up cuz more than half of us are not botting because there is not a stable release yet :P

If anything they have just gone down even more lol tried a few people best I could get was 0.22eur/0.19gbp horrendous remember a year ago I was getting double that or more just bad they know people will struggle to find private sellers and just rip you off and make a extortionate profit from it but fair play for them doing it they are gambling their money. Only if I had the time and resources!

I hear ya..tried to sell my stockpile last couple of days...only got offered .25 and .32 usd. I'll wait thank you

chinese have nothing to do with the actual wow economy the reason the price is so low is because we are not botting and have nothing else to do right now besides sell the gold we have.

the actual wow AH prices are going up log in and look
