A wait for the bot

The wow economy at the moment is screwed, I don?t blame bots entirely but some of the people using our bots. When Diablo 3 game out, people still massed farmed. But no one was buying. And although D3 has died down no one is too interested to wow at the moment as mop is only a few weeks ago! And some of you just kept farming and have brought ore/herb prices down to near vendor prices.
So no one should be using there bots for farming at the moment. If you are your either one of the above people I?m talking about or you are on one of the few servers that the economy is not screwed at the moment.
For everything else you have a little more time to get whatever it was you are doing done.
To be honest, I won?t be touching HB until the professionals have used it for a bit. Wow version 5.0.0+ brings a new warden and new cheat detection sever side. I?m sure the team at HB will make HB safe again? But for now as of patch v5 I won?t be turning HB for at least a month.
Leave realm first to them who actually go out and do the work.
 
But then again, HB won't even work for a month so it doesn't matter if you turn it on!
 
What bots are u working on first questing or farming?
I prefer farming questing is only 5 levels^^

What you are talking about are not bots they are profiles...and they won't be working on anything like that until that get the bot working again and safe to do so with wow 5.0.0+

They need to work out how to safely read and inject data into memory possibly all over again. Then cc.s will need to be developed again to accommodate the new combat styles..

Then they might look at doing some grinding/gaming profiles then finally questing the hardest...

The beta has been around a bit so hopefully they are well into doing all this and it's not far away..

They also need to get it working with windows 8 as this is now rtm and I'm using it now :p

Personally it will be Xmas befor we start afking our bots again
 
Xmas! Doubtful they should at least get the BGs up and running fairly quickly not much should change within those "instances" Same goes with Dungeons they are the own area loaded up upon entrance. Now for the rest of the story Christmas maybe but seems like your not giving them much credit.
 
BGbuddy , i reckon will be available sooner than the rest , as fundamentaly ( until mop comes ) the bg's aint changing.

I think they will be fixing everything or atleast most of it before releasing anything.
 
I HATE major patches that breaks HB, makes me have to learn how to play the class by hand, and out of my 10x85 I can play 2 by hand right now, perhaps 3 :/

Better than me, I think the only class I could still play by hand is arcane mage.

Patching the core for the patch should be pretty much the same as before, it's just all the other stuff is going to be broken as well. No CCs will be current. Many plugins will be broken. A lot of questing profiles will need minor fixes.
It's going to be a lot of work.
 
Hb for MoP will be .Net 4 so it's better if you download and install it now.
Alot of plugins and bots will need to be updated like the talents plugin ( completly different in MoP )
 
Update guys:

It will be ~1 week (give or take a few days or up to another week) after Tuesday hits before you get a bot

If you have anything dire to do w/ the bot (ie: get fishing to 525) - DO IT NOW

The update will come when its ready, it's a lot of work to put out but the HB team has always been good at getting the bot back and running after a patch! Luckily I know how to play my 13 85's all by hand :p. Just won't get to farm while I sleep!

Last time I had .Net 3.0 (Or is it 3.5 HB runs with right now??) and 4.0 I couldnt run HB. Had to remove 4.0 again! If I install 4.0 now, will this break HBs current version?
