[Party Plugin] SimpleFollow - Multi-Bot Party Plugin

My temporary fix is to enable the gold inactivity timer to close to 40 seconds. Once 40 seconds without a bit of gold pickup, the bot leaves the party and recreates the group and run :)

Is it also possible to play the leader manually while ther other 3 toons are controlled by the bot?

Yes you can. You'll need an empty profile, its on one of the pages on this thread.

Load the empty profile on the bot you want to play, and load simplefollow on the bots to follow you.

any idea why leader doesn't click accept on boss portals?

the accept button is: 0x69B3F61C0F8490B0
if i'm not mistaken

does anyone have some quality trinity settings for the follower bots? i'm running a 3 (soon to be 4) barb team, however, the leader sits at more IPH than the other two, and they tend to engage incombat while the leader is still running ahead...maybe increasing the combat radius of the followers to max so theres no possibility of this happening?

edit: I solved the problem that others were having of the barbs wanting to wander off/stray away/not follow the path of the leader

I set cluster radius to 0 and I set minimum trash pack size to 15 which forces them to naturally want to catch/follow the leader and they immediately begin fighting the targets around him.

I have 1 pc and 2 accounts, I open it with r-yar but when I try to run the plugin does the following:

[20:55:14.192 N] [SimpleFollow] Found 4 banners
[20:55:16.202 N] [SimpleFollow] ERROR: Could not get an update from the leader using http://localhost:10921/Follow. Is the leader running?
[20:55:16.202 N] [SimpleFollow] Leader is not in game, exiting

I am also having better results with my weakest barb being the leader...once it engages an elite pack, it can quickly move away to the non elites while the tougher ones hold-off the elites until they're ready to move and catch up with the leader. hope this helps...

Can you explain how it makes the bots want to catch up to the leader "naturally"? I'm curious.

from my observation, increasing the cluster size meant there had to be more adds around naturally for them to wanna spring off the leash of the leader, but i did notice one thing, doing this reduced IPH. what i am doing now is 6 for cluster on all three of my barbs, and 20yds for radius. works much better, hope this helps.

I recently started running this in Act1. I've come to notice an issue with the warp-exit stones at the end of caves and such. If my leader takes the stone, the followers all attempt to take it but fail for about 15 seconds, then they port to town and have a real issue choosing the right banner to port (click wrong banners, own banner, etc). Is there some way to code this plugin better to either be smarter about the banners or just follow the leader by also successfully taking the warp-exit stone?

Definitely loving this plugin. It works even better than I had hoped.

That being said, is there anything I can do to help you add the following features to the plugin?

1. Have the Leader and Follower perform a town run at the same time depending on which bot initiates the town run.
2. Have the Follower portal to town at the same time as the leader.
3. Have the Follower leave the game at the same time as the leader.

Additionally, when I'm running my Leader with the Profile "This is the Run. Act 2", my Follower always stops at the door where the Alchemist would be if he spawned and he just sits there until gold inactivity timeout. Is there a reason the follower would do this?

New version posted (1.1.7)

I think these were the changes:

Added common logging/diagnostic methods
Tweaked UI operations a little to help prevent crashes
Improved support for moving to ProfilePosition Followers will use TownPortal before initiating TownRun (so they can use banner after townrun)
Added ability for Followers to use Leaders Current ProfileBehavior coordinates instead of position of leader. DEFAULT OFF. Must enable through Settings window
Additional known exception handling
Increased social button friend invite thread sleep delays to prevent errors & crashes

Current profile behavior coordinates.. Meaning the follower will follow and attack the leaders targets better? I kept having trouble with the follower running off and attacking its own stuff then eventually coming back, kind of making it hard to do higher MP's

No, that's still a problem. Haven't fixed this one yet, or even decided the best logic to fix it.

What "Profile Behavior Coordinates" means is instead of the follower being 1 step behind the leader, it should keep pace and perhaps even be in front of the leader - it uses the leaders destination rather than the leaders current position as the point to "follow to". Hope that makes sense... Anyways, it's optional :)

IPH so far, seems to be up about 125 :)

This is when using the "use profile position" option

It's really sad that you aren't getting any praise for the update.... :(

I'm getting an easily noticeable higher IPH and lower DPH with this :)
