Paragon lvls + MF? = over 300 Stack?

The topic says it all...

does the paragon lvls and MF stack over 300% or is the cap at 300% and any point over it a waste ?

currently with paragon and some mf gear im at 380 mf and im wondering if the 80 is doing anything or if i can update with more dps gear

paragon and MF gear don't stack over 300%. you're getting the 80% from your helper and from NV stacks.

No. Your cap from gear YOU are wearing + paragon levels is 300%. You can get another 75% from NV stacks, plus 20% of whatever you manage to get on your follower. 40% ammy, 2 18% rings and a 40% MF weapon should yield you around 20 - 25%, for a grand total of ~ 400%.

Edit, I'm not sure but I think I read somewhere that after 1.0.5 your follower's MF bonus will also be part of that 300% cap.

I''m currently @ 403mf. 300% from gear. 75% with nf and due to the follower still being bugged and allowing you to stack over 300% before NV. I use the Templar with 20% shield,; 2x 18% rings, 1x 40% amulet and Depending on account, either legacy 300th spear (21%) or sun keeper 43% (This isn't a cheap item to get). But it has seemed to increase my legendary drop rate....even though 90% of legendaries are complete garbage.
