Paragon 100 Helm Gem

Just wondering what everyone did with their helm gem after reaching lvl 100? MF/GF gems don't work at paragon 100 do they?

So did everyone go for the life gem or did you buy a new helm without a socket to get other stats on it?
 
Either sell away the Helm+Gem or shift it to another leveling account, then purchase a non-socketed Andariel's Visage with low extra fire dmg.

Yeah, still unsure whether to bother with the life gem, got enough life as it is, may look for a high dps helm. I don't think the fire damage legendary helm is a good idea tbh, will have to see.

Why not, you can get a Visage with 5% extra fire damage taken, and even if its 10%, it won't insta-kill you :P
 
ur item setting is very wrong if you have plenty of hp without amethyst at para lv100

convert all your life armor gear to dps focused gear and put AMETHYST on helm

Do this if you want to be smart, but do what edge85 does to be awesome.
 
I'm sitting on 40k hp without the helm gem, but I only just hit 100 para today, so I might adjust my gear if I keep the socket helm.
 
Huge amount of HP is not needed. Your pool of Health should be balanced in such a way that i pulses up and down due to life regen. Normally between 50%-40% and 100% for me, the key is to let your regen on dmg heal you. The more dmg the more heal the lesser HP and def you need. This works fine in my case.
So in your case replace with it with max %hp gem and replace a item that gives you def or hp and upgrade to more dps one.
IMO.
 
Sent the helm to another bot, and bought an identical item (ik helm) without a socket for cheap
 
i got a mempo in 2 bill for me Barb 1 of the best in-game helm's right now
 
I would highly advise getting a Socketed Helmet, 12% is a massive bonus for Life, specially in higher MP levels.
 
I got an extremely high dps andariels with no socket for very cheap.
 
Mempo with 6% Crit chance and atack 9% the best choice for botting... BLiz would never think you're a bot
