Pala Macro

I've created a macro for my pala and works great when fighting a mob, problem is that sometimes there is an add and the macro doesn't reset. Tried all different combinations to get it to reset so any advise on what I need to do so that it will continue to fight the adds rather than just stand there. :confused:

/castsequence reset=target Spell_XX, Spell_XX, Spell_XX
 
tried the reset=target also tried target/combat will change back to that and check it tonight.
 
That sound weird, i'we used that for a while and never been failing.
 
Its been a nightmare for me as had setup macro as people had posted then watched bot one night cause he was dying a fair bit then realised macro not resetting, Will change it tonight and keep an eye on it.
 
I figured out what was happening with my macro's, It seems that macro was infact doing what it was suppose to but when it goto something on cooldown it was wait on it cooling down. Removed the thing and working a treat, dying a lot less now :)

Post you macro mate? My paladin is dying a lot in SP but not in SB. Might help me and others.
 
I don't know about you, but if your a ret pally, all you should need to put down is Crusader and Divine Storm.. Just those 2 work perfectly.
 
What about seals? Would take longer to kill things that way, Did have basic macro setup and took ages to kill stuff then along comes somebody and ninja's your node :(

I aint been on pala mate been on him so not had chance to get the macro's.

This is where I stand as well. My paladin is dying at least 2-4 times a day and at night in SP and its only when he goes for a node and aggros about 6 mobs lol.
 
If your pulling that many and you have decent gear then you should be able to kill them with a pala, My pala got guff gear and can take on 3/4 mobs. I've seen pala's take on a lot more than that and that was before icc was released.
