I agree with this post. Everyone as you say is entitled to their own opinion, I find the bot does everything it says it does I honestly dont understand people that say it doesn't, my 2nd char using HB in about 2 months is getting on for being 80 (I'm not a hardcore botter!) Not found any decent profiles for questing but tbh i dont recall it being advertised with questing so no complaints really. I'm the kind of person that is super impressed with how it all works, and not that impressed with the competition, but i understand if people are having issues their frustration... Just not something i share!

Because he shouldn't have to. Without a solid, working profile, everything else you mentioned is completely useless. People are upset that they are paying for an incomplete bot (which it is, if the profiles aren't working). And again, why is this the user's responsibility to create content for a bot they paid for? I'll mention my OpenBot example again. That was understood that to get it to work, you *needed* to put effort in on your own, but also we didn't pay for that, did we? You guys were also *very* clear in that community, about what the expectations should be, and that worked well. In contrast, look at how HB is advertised, and then check that with the statement you just wrote. It doesn't say "It will grind (but you may have to write your own profile, so be prepared for that)". If you guys want to continue selling HB in it's current state, and not change how it is advertised, then you have to learn to accept this criticism, and hopefully realize what people expect when they purchase HB, because clearly you do not at this stage of the game. You have this entitled attitude of "it's good enough, deal with it" and then have the gall to wonder why there's a backlash? You want people to create their own profiles, then put that out there BEFORE they plunk down their money. Otherwise, it's borderline bait and switch, and/or false advertising.

To get back to the OP, I think a single profile is a bad idea, because I've seen instances where using GB I've encountered bots running the exact same path, and that just begs for a ban. However, creating numerous profiles, all with multiple people developing it, I think is what you have now, or at least similar. I agree with Apoc, and I think there needs to be a better toolset to create these profiles. If I am reading you correctly OP, *that* is what you are really wanting, once you get down to it. You want to be able to plunk in a few bits of information, and set it off. I'm piqued by the recently introduced questing additions, and I am betting that we'll get a solid tool to create all types of profiles, and *that* is when things will change.
 
Another thing Tony, on your advertisement you talk about :

- Top notch Warden protection.

Why does it help when during a navigation while mounted the bot stays walking against the wall for 7 hours?

God I think Tony's arrogant attitude that frustrates me more than the bot. I honestly think the forums would be more relaxed if there was a mod with some respect. Someone just created a large post with genuine concerns and requests for ideas to improve the HB service, what was the response?

And I'm not talking just about that, if you walk on duskwood the bot smashes every single light on the road, which results in stoping 3/4 seconds, every human 12 year old or more can detect it is a bot.
 
For one more time because it seems that for some people is hard to understand.questing is on beta and probably there will be bugs etc.you can use the grinding option tho

It's a navigation bug, has nothing to do with questing. if you make a profile to walk to there it will get stuck because it passes on the stuck spot

I've also had quite a few times where I've died 40 odd times because my char is out at sea with fatigue. Can someone translate "It's not only questing that is bugged" to german and pm it to Tony?
 
Honorbuddy has gotten me near gold cap now, with skinning alone.
Im content with it.
Grinding works perfectly, thats what i originally purchased it for.

it's so easy to make a profile nowdays for grinding.
No idea on questing, im not interested in that, maybe when its out of beta.

For now, i shove it on before i go to work, come home and see it, AH, wake up, empty mailbox of money, restart it.

Maybe slightly offtopic, but im happy with HB.
 
With every piece of software or product as it were, you will have those that have no issues and are happy and those that just want everything handed to them with little effort on their part. When I came to this community I had no knowledge of the bot, but I learned to create my own profiles for myself. I guess the way I look at it, is this bot is just the base and any profiles I want I should make or pay someone to make. The community has grown since February and with it more people who want more for their money, can't blame people for that I suppose, but I have leveled 3 toons to 80 with hb using the standard grind public profiles. For questing I have learned to make my own profiles, though they are not perfect they work.
When there is a problem with hb people need to post their logs and the dev team should follow up with an acknowledgment they are aware of it. It's communication or lack thereof that drive people crazy and feel ignored. I can't say be patient or too bad you don't feel like you got what you paid for, but I can say have you posted your logs in the appropriate thread and if so did anyone acknowledge it.

I never said I wasn't happy with HB, if I was I wouldn't even be here discussing, if I'm talking about it, it's because I care, it's not the first bot comunity I'm on (good old times 0x33), but I can guarantee it's the worst, especially because how devs/admins treat the paid users, they seem to ignore most of the bug reports, when they add new functions they don't talk a shit about them you have to figure out by yourself, they don't seem to care about the people who actually make this look like a community.
 
The comunity is sleeping because most of the people are in vacantion, it's also summer, they go outside etc

I think I remember reading that Apoc was supposed to be working on his profile editor, MaiN and nesox were working on ironing out the bugs and implementing new questing features, and Hawker was going to work on creating a flawless 1-60 questing profile. They have already shared their intentions on creating the profiles. They are very complex and do not happen overnight. Create something yourself, or be patient and wait for it to be handed to you.

The thing is, we could have a team that develops profiles, instead of having hawker doing it alone, I might be wrong but HB doesn't support some use of quest items yet, and people would have to remake their profiles when these things were out.
