[Orderbot] [Plugin] [Fish v3.0+] and profiles support thread

I'm not using any profile for fishing bot, I don't know what profile are you talking about..

As far as i know, the fishing bot requires a profile, maybe you need a custom botbase that just fishes where you are standing, I believe one exists somewhere on the forums.

The built in fish bot stands in place and fishes, you do need to tick the "stationary" checkbox and set what mooch level you want, if any, but that's all it does.

Yea but.... it can load a profile, just like the traditional gather bot, are you sure that it just isn't optional =). Most likely he needs to recheck that box.
 
I'm lost on this one. The title says plugin, but I don't get a plugin in my menu. Just seems like various forms of settings when I looked through the contents. Is it just stuff to further customize what you do with orderbot profiles? Either I've monumentally screwed up installing this causing me to not see menus to play with or I'm just totally missing the overall function. This is the first content from this forum I've not at least been able to get started using, so if I could get like a nutshell version of what to do with this, that'd really clear a lot up for me. Sounds dumb, probably. But yeah. I'm lost lol

"Orderbot plugin" = custom tag

No plugin shows up in the list.
 
Alright. So then I think I'm totally lost on how to use this. I guess when the client is back up and running I'll just have to really pick it apart and figure out how to put this to use.

This is part of the whole ExBuddy, so if you have that, you don't need this (and actually it might cause issues if you do have this). All you have to do is use the profiles with <Fish or <ExFish tags and it will handle it. Not complicated, all the settings are in the profiles which unless you are creating your own, are already set.
 
Oh. I think I got it now. So basically with your stuff set up in my settings and behaviors etc it basically does the order profile instructions for me instead of me having to micromanage parts?
