[Order Bot] Quests, Quests and Quests! 2025-02-08

Alright so I've been having mad problems. I even did fresh install of RBuddy and still no fixes. I'm level 53 and when I turn on the Heavensward profile the bot thinks I haven't done pre-expan quests yet and teleports me to dragonhead and then I talk to Alp and then it ports me to Foundation and at that point it just sits there and does nothing...and then if I restart it, it'll say that I haven't completed level 50 quests AGAIN and reattempt all the level 50 quests. I also used this bot for a bit and the profile already to get from 50-53 but now it just straight up reset-ted on me and I'm stumped! Here's a log.

I had that issue before, maybe a month or two ago, but haven't had it since. I can't recall what needed to be done to resolve it. Have you tried restarting your PC? A fresh RB install? It's not an issue with the profile, but with the settings or something else. Again, I wish I knew what I did to resolve this a while back when it happened to me, but if memory serves me right, it cleared itself up on its own, I just can't remember how long it took or what was done specifically. :/

That doesn't help me. :p

Could you provide a full log .txt file from your "Logs" folder that shows the issue? What profile are you running?
 
i reloaded rb and the MainScenario_15-50 and my character proceeded to just run randomly fight random monsters including a lvl 40 which for this character is suicide.

dont know if that log shows the issue but it was the only log there. :\ if you have a skype or tv i can do that.

aether currents in The Sea of Clouds isn't working for me. I click start and port from where ever I am in the world to Camp Cloudtop, then immediately to Limsa Lominsa then immediately to Foundation. Once in Foundation my dude sprints an NPC, L'khonebb, that doesn't exist, i can't see him but my character interacts with him...."greetings sir, do you require a transport to the blue window?" but then it says event canceled. repeat.

I used the other 3 aether current profiles w/o a hitch last night.

UPDATE: Copied the file and edit'd out the quests with NotePad++ and he's running around collecting aether currents from The Sea of Clouds.

Did you already complete the quest Into the Blue?

He has not added that quest in his profile yet; you must do a few quests manually to qualify for Into the Blue, then complete Into the Blue manually.

Essentially, that quest unlocks access to the Ok'Zundu Aetheryte; once you attune to that aetheryte, then you'll know you can run this aether current profile

Removing the quests is fine, but as Cloud said, if you haven't completed Into the Blue yet either with my HW questing profile or by hand, it's rather pointless to run that profile as you won't be able to get all the currents anyways.

Added, even though it is preferred that the profile shouldn't be run before Into the Blue is complete. Updating the profile in the appropriate topic, not this one.

Thanks so much! Sitting @ 309/375 quests right now, so hopefully I'll be able to push a temporary profile option that will allow anyone who wants to have RB handle all the ground quests to do so while completing any that require flying manually. It's not a "full" profile in those terms yet, but it'll cover most of the quests.
