I meant to post updates to get the profiles current here with my SVN last night, but didn't quite work out that way. :p

I have an alt that has only done up to the end of ARR 2.55 quests. I've been fatebotting it to 55~ish, so will Heavensward.xml still do all the sidequests and aether currents? Do I need to unlock Ishgard and whatnot beforehand?

You only have to complete the main story quests untill Heavensward (Ishgard). So if you finished 2.55 you just have to start the Heavensward.xml and the bot will do all quests needed.

For Aether Currents there are seperate profiles for Coerthas Western Highlands, The Dravanian Forelands & The Sea of Clouds in the Profiles/y2krazy/Aether Currents directory. Churning Mists and following is not added yet.

If you want to skip Sidequests untill the profile reaches your current character level, then you could manually delete all quests with the following header:

and only let it do the main scenario quests.

But that's not really recommended, because you will miss some good gear from a few side quests. (you can check rewards of quests in the Heavensward.xml too)
 
That's fine, I have 130 BiS gear that is good until Vault, which I plan on running to upgrade my gear with. Thanks!

It should™ run without issue wherever you are in the questline, regardless of character level - with a higher character level, you basically won't have to worry about not meeting the qualifications for a quest.
 
One more question, for the quests that have multiple rewards, does the profile default to the first option or should I babysit the bot for when a multi-reward quest shows up?

It's checking your current Job to choose a reward.
So if you are a Ninja, and there are Ninja boots available, it will choose the Ninja boots

Are you in the Immortal Flames? If not, you need to complete some of the equivalent quests for your Grand Company to use the rest of the profile.

can anyone tell me when does the heavensward questline ends? im currently at forelands i hope its not close to the end :( i love the afk-ness

You're welcome and thank you too! My profiles start @ patch 2.1, but I do link to kaga's 1-50 profiles in this topic just in case people don't come across them first. I'll end up making my own eventually, but his are the go-to atm. ;)

HW is currently supported to Moglin's Judgment (GE Wiki) in The Churning Mists. If I didn't spend all weekend with my kids, pressure washing and painting the backyard deck, I'd have put in a lot of work. Hopefully this week will see more availability!
 
I'm noticing that my character's getting stuck in many quests, so it looks like baby sitting the bot would be best for this profile. Still a good profile nonetheless.
