This would be amazing, but don't hold your breath........I'm having a hard enough time just trying to get RJW logic included.

I haven't forgotten I just haven't had time lately with RL to contend with. Hopefully this weekend.

This is amazing to hear. Obviously any RL stuff comes first. I appreciate the update though, I was concerned that this was falling on deaf ears beyond the initial "that could be done" phase. Whenever you get around to it, it would be great.

I was talking with TuanHA a little bit about the lightning weaver rotation, and apparently it's a lot of logic, and he seems to have mostly given up on it. I feel like it would have to be a separate CR as the logic is really nothing like normal healing, but it was pretty impressive when I played it manually. I tested it on a normal mode IJ 10-man just so the healing requirement was low enough that I could just tunnel it and not have to worry about normal healing, and I put out 116k dps and 105k hps, which is really pretty impressive. If this isn't something you can realistically do, that's fine, but do you think you could take a look at what it would entail to see if it's even possible? Link below for reference.

here is my thought on it. As I raid with a mistweaver and i have piloted a lot of the testing for monk on this CR. If 95% of the world's mistweavers are not using this...there is probably a reason they are not.

I can think of several reasons:

1. It's unorthodox, and therefore more difficult to execute, since it wasn't blizzard's "intended" playstyle
2. It's very difficult to smoothly transition between this and regular healing mid-encounter
3. It's less healing than regular healing and less dps than a dps class

However, just because 95% of people don't use it, doesn't mean that it's wrong. It's very effective for fights where you'd like to get more dps for a tight enrage timer, but can't afford to drop a full healer for whatever reason. Not saying that this would replace standard mistweaver healing, but I have tried it, and it is more effective than it would appear at first glance.

I'm currently 6/14 heroic and we two heal a majority of everything with the occasional 3 heal, but I find that I mainly lightning weave on mainly normal mode bosses where there isn't a ton of healing going out. I think it's really fun to put out over 100k dps and 100k heals, but on progression fights I tend to not use it much and just sit back and heal.

I think it just comes down to it being fun to be able to dps + heal, but I guess in the end it's not REALLY needed...
 
How is current revision working? Have raid in the am and am using Tuana but having some weird issues...and need a stable CR as I am 100% worthless with no CR. :)

I see no issues with Monk using Latest HB v2.5.8961.713 AND Latest Tyrael.

Mana Tea is working, channelling is working, etc.
 
This Routine is AWESOME, tested it with MW-Monk, casts spheres like a Boss!

Ah just xferred my MW-monk looking to get some use of it on my mains realm, still works like a charm I see!
And monky d, may I ask why you asking about a "private version"?
 
Any recommended talent settings that go well with Ski's 259 build? I perused the thread but didn't see any reference to a specific build. I did see that we SHOULD use chi wave and chi brew with Ski's settings but that's it.
 
Is people having good success with this?

Is it using a proper healing routine?

Do you play with standard settings or the settings/files "ski" posted?

Sorry for the questions. Im a new healing monk, so im not totally sure if the healing output is what it should be.
 
I keep getting this when I start Oracle. Heya, I have noticed you have glyph of Targeted Expulsion, You may want to change the default settings for Expel harm as they are setup to be cast on you.​ I have looked all over in Oracle but I can work out how to change it. Can anyone help please ?

It will come up every time it just wants you to make sure you have your expel harm settings set

Anyone else notice that Monk seems to say it is casting a lot of spells but actually not casting them? LFR seems to just be lately
