Oracle Holy & Disc Priest - Open Beta

What kind of hps are you guys pulling with oracle in soo 10n?

Really depends on the fight to be honest. I know like norushen when we run two healers i can get anywhere from 150k up to 250k hps. Non stacked fights i do a lot more healing just because it is me and shaman and if we are stacked healing rain and chain heal just trumps my heals/absorbs.
 
I don't know if it is my computer or the WoW servers or HB but it seems to be reacting rather slow today..sometimes it takes like more than half a minute before it starts healing. The only thing I have changed is (I use Cacheman) and I put it so that the process priority of WoW is always on high, do I maybe need to do the same with HB ?

You cannot change the priority of HB

Alrighty, may have been the server because other people were complaining about lag spikes too.

I have to say it again tho', this is a great CR. I've tried a few, but I realy like this one! Dispells work great too, I found that out yesterday, I had like 45 dispells in flex with the closest to me having 12 (lazy bastards)!

Btw, Benny, which glyphs do you use or is it really just personal preference?

Hi there, do you guys have any experience with this routine doing challenge gold as disc? Ill probably try this routine this weekend, any tips you might have? thanks in advance!
 
Man, sometimes my mana is perfectly fine, other times it just drains and I just can't seem to figure out where it comes from..the only thing that comes to mind is the multiple casts of PW: Shield...Is it possible to make it so that these only get cast on the tank?

Also I must be doing something wrong in Proving Grounds, because I can't even get passed bronze? I loaded your settings you mentioned earlier, got the talents etc.. Is there anything else I need to do besides turning Proving Grounds on?

When you see mana drain with no apparent reason look at how many Dispels you are doing. You a probably going OOM dispelling.

In regards to proving grounds there are countless posts in the Oracle Priest thread here http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...holy-disc-priest-open-beta-3.html#post1305054

Oracle is capable of clearing PG no sweat with the right configurations.

I am keeping an eye on it, usually I only seem to dispell with Purify, maybe I need to up the number of people on Mass Dispell so it doesn't pop easily.

And I know it should be able of clearing PG, that's why I'm wondering..I used Benny's talents and settings, but maybe they are a bit outdated?

Since pg never changes they should not be outdated....also not sure mass dispel works

Well, if Mass Dispell is not working, I guess it's still the first thing I was thinking about, casting PW: Shield on more people than just the main tank..Does this get fixed by changing the tank mode?

Do a wol or something and see what you are casting a lot of. And how are your healing meters breaking down? As in %

disc priests and proving grounds should finally be fixed
detection of the units is working fine without any setup now
i managed to get the gold achievement within this moment
 
Do you still need to do the tools - select player like you mentioned in the other thread or not anymore?

I also fixed my mana issue, turned some things off, can't remember what tho.. oops, but i'm pulling top hps in normal right now with people who outgear me by far, so i guess i didn't turn off anything important..

not needed anymore ... at least ... not for me, tested with 3 different classes (only one of them managed the gold achievement currently, but on a good way to get the gold one with the other toons/classes too)
 
I was wondering why once Prayer of Healing starts casting, it casts like 5 times in a row, while people are full health? I just have it on basic settings.
 
are you making sure it is not casting spirit shell as well? Cause when it casts spirit shell it spams it until the buff falls off.
 
Thanks for mentioning that, it does cast PoH without SH sometimes and then it's like only once or twice, but when it casts it along with SH it's like four or five times
