tbh I don't see any issues with the spells being cast. I see it used flash heal but only when the target was below 50%..there are settings in the GUI for this maybe increase those if you want to see more heal and flash heal usage. You could also try turning off Damage that will increase the usage of said ability's.

I am going to paste your cleaned up log here, maybe one of my testers can elaborate more. You can of course tune Oracle to pretty much do whatever you like by playing with the settings. I encourage people to post there settings to the forum so others may benefit.

Thanks man you are awesome! The problem is atonement healing for disc is really the way to go and maybe I don't understand the settings because I don't see any way to set heal, greater heal, renew etc. I will look into setting more just seems to me out of the box as it were, disc and holy pally as well were both healing far better before some changes were made. Maybe a fellow user can share their setting with me to test :)

So just a quick rundown of your log.....from what i noticed I am actually out of town so this might be brief. Yes Atonement healing is good when you have good gear and the proper reforge and gem set up. If you are running mastery atonement is not the best crit is for atonement. Now about your log.

It casts 526 times i believe. 138 of those times it casts smite. 62 of the 528 it casts holy fire. and then it casts penance 54 times. we will assume it only casted penance as a damage spell half the time. so that gives us 228 of your casted spells as atonement. it cast prayer of mending 69 times which appears to be almost on cooldown which is the same with holy fire. It then casted PW:S 118 times. Prayer of healing 12 times. I would say that the breakdown of the spells cast shows it all...you are atonement healing to the fullest very few AOE spells cast. I would assume you have the legendary meta gem not sure but if so that increase the number of PW:S casts as well. so from that log lets remove the aoe and mending spells and just include renews atonement and shields and whatever else is cast. other than AOE.

457 casts not counting prayer of mending.
254 possible atonement usage spells......that is more thatn 50% of all your spells were cast for atonement.....I see nothing wrong with this.
 
An update, just ran proving grounds with complete default settings. changed offensive dps to false and i am now ranked top 50 us priests for proving grounds......just to let you know.

hehe ok thanks I guess I will delete all setting and try again. I am running 3-5 in LFR and with my gear I shouldn't be. Maybe I have something messed up. I am running it without frame lock because even with a gtx670 I am getting spots of 10 fps and less on boss fights with frame lock on 30

Latest rev help with fps ? I usually play on high settings in wow and never drop below 30. FPS with flock and 30tps. Try disabling all your addons as well the will suck hard especially if there not updated.

The thing with wow is your fps are also based off your CPU. Lower end CPU will bottleneck your fps.

I understand but this is not a weak pc. I7-3770 3.4ghz, 16gb ram, Ssd 240gb hd, gtx-670 and I run a very basic ui. I run at 1920x1200 but I have a 27" asus monitor and I refuse to run game at 800x600 for performance of any game. This pc should eat a game as old as wow up!

Quick suggestion Not sure if it's worth your time being a free CR and all and would not want to add anything that would slow her down too much but the suggestion/idea is

Priest talent Twist of Fate - Spells - World of Warcraft Basically damage or heal a target under 35% HP and you gain 15% increased damage and healing, When i play by hand i abuse this talent.

I do this in two ways 1) always trying to cast my Power word: solace/penance on hostile mobs that are under 35% HP (adds in encounters are good for this)
2.) making sure i get a heal on anyone under 35% (obviously the bot is going to do this by default anyway as 35% is considered low and needs to be healed.

So it's really the Damage on mobs i was hinting at. But i would not want the scanning and so forth to slow her down. It may already do this i just have not noticed.

Edit: If you can maintain that 15% increased healing for a good portion of the fight, its wonderful :)

Edit: Been doing some testing with this, and when using this Talent it does cause rapid but infrequent screen lock ups, Change talent and it does go away, it's not to bad in a 5 / 10man environment yet to test in 25man.can this be optimized or have to live with it?

Edit: My computer is not an issue it's very high end, also do you need a log containing the lock ups?

Droool...wave 9....post you settings my priest is flat out healing wave 5, has yo use void shift on tank on first wave....it's horrid lol

Benny is on wave 24 at the moment with Oracle ;)
 
I plan on getting a settings file and a breakdown of stats and talents hopefully in the next 24 hours I want to get it completely untouched healing through 30 waves. I am out of town so have not been able to really test much the last few days.

@bennyquest are these settings and stats/talents just for Proving Grounds or in general great for normal SoO (10m)
 
Been playing with this for a while now and for me personally (in proving grounds) it doesn't play to well.
Dispelling priority for me isn't high enough priority. Made a stopcast/dispel macro that helped.
It seems to have no priority at all on Chomp and just leaves it on the the party member just healing it so it doesn't die but rarely to 90%.
Hymn of hope casts but if the tank is less than 50% he just dies waiting for the channel.
If both the tank and healer are low in health, it seems to prioritize the healer for healing.
It also seems to be casting smaller heals even when the tank is below 50%
settings are out of the box using tyrael.
Dunno, just seems a little frustrating to watch and not being able to get past 5 levels.
I did 10 yesterday but today it seems to be different.

There's no errors or anything but I'll post a log anyway...

That is really odd cause I consistently get to wave 15 with default settings. When I can look at your log I will.

I will give a proving grounds settings first as i have spent more time in there than raiding so far....bad on my part I know but guild has been moving slow.

I'd also if I can make a suggestion...though I haven't done any raiding this patch and obviously haven't tried this cc yet so unsure about its mana usage ...

I use another great routine here as disc (king-Wow). it had a toggle that you could press that would change from atonement to non atonement. It came in really handy because you could dps (and heal) but if you watched your mana you could revert back to non atonement healing. Many times I could do that and watch my mana go UP until I felt I could toggle the atonement back on. If your watching the game and not eating burger and watching Jerry Springer while you raid, it can be a really handy feature
 
It's like this doesn't work for proving grounds at all. I have offensive dps false, proving grounds true but i still can't get past wave 4 with ilvl 510 lol
