Why do we normal users have to pay for flying support? If this is temporary nvm this post. But it seems that we users that do not have lifetime are becoming second hand users. We paid for honorbuddy not for honorbuddy light
The flying support (and others) are part of a 'paid plugin' system. Many vendors do this, including Adobe, Microsoft, third-parties to them, etc. If you think about it, even Wcraft itself is a 'paid plugin' system--with each 'content upgrade' being a 'plugin'. Nothing compels you to use the new 'plugin' except your own desire.
Its very much like buying a car with discrete 'options' and get only what you want, or you can buy the 'package' that contains some things you won't use, but its cheaper than the same bundle of discrete 'options'. The breakeven point against a normal user's pricing is roughly a year.
Part of the benefits to the Lifetime purchase was access to many (but not all), of the paid plugins. This is the first step in fulfilling the difference in price between a 'normal' HB, and the Lifetime HB.
In short, 'normal' HB users have gotten what they've paid for. As a bonus, Bossland GmbH has even given them temporary access to a number of plugins that will eventually be paid--InstanceBuddy, eAuction, Archeology, etc.
There are clearly two 'tiers' of Buddy products--normal and Lifetime. If you want access to the second tier, then from what I've seen Bossland GmbH is very generous with respect to upgrading to Lifetime. If that doesn't appeal to you, you can 'choose your options' when the paid plugin system becomes available. Its your money to deploy how you see fit.
