The bot have been doing the job it says it should for many players, so I don't know what your problem is.

I can still use my other five accounts without a problem.

I have to conclude that they are scanning memory while RIFT AND Ryftomate were both running and they detected something going on within the address space of my bot account. I say this because I was mutli boxing with my five other accounts while the bot was running in the other.

At any rate it was fun while it lasted. :cool:

When reading the 2 quoted post it makes me think Trion did find something the bot dose different then when you manual steer the RIFT client. I'm sure the detection are server side.

As I know they don't scan my PC (or PC memory) for software. It is also very easy to stop by running RIFT with an unprivileged user account. Checking IP or MAC also don't make sense since it so easy to "fake" and having the same address don't mean you are the same person.

Remember most gaming company are subscribers to bot's they like to stop. So I think they have a copy of the bot and that way have found out how to detect it.

Lets just wait some time until their bot focus stops. Should not be long until they need to get the focus back on keeping their players. I think a lot are quiting RIFT.
 
They wont loose Bot Focus ;-)

Its just ryftomate Guys need to find out, what has heppened.
Go outside, do some sports, while our Bot Programmers are working.
 
Neh its not just having it on your PC. Its illegal to scan that, unless you tossed it in yoru Rift folder. then it might not be. Either way, the one i account i leveled up on with this bot, perma banned... the one that i tested it on a few kills and loged out, that got a 24 hours ban. The other account, (I 3 box) nothing happened with it. So, the bot was great, nothing else out there even comes close to being as good. just sucks that it was detectable. hopefully they get a work around =)
 
It looks that rift looks more on botters then over wow i wait with buying rift befor this bot gets updated wow is already getting bored and dying im giving this game ahead but i dont wanna play it legit to the higest lvl:) i hate questing Grinding:)
 
Used the Bot on 3 Accounts, used Profile 6-30 Defiant; Scarhide 29-35; 35-50
Bottet Mage 6-50
Warrior 6-30
Cleric 22-42
Mage 6-8 ;-) Then Bot stopped

No Ban on none of my Accounts
I personally think, its not the Bot that ist detectable, its the 24/7 botter attitude... But its my Opinion

oo just like wow then wel i bot in wow for 12 15 hours a day without problems then i should do the same in RIft...

That can only be half of the truth. I botted 12 hours a day with normal offline periods for a virtual breakfast, lunch etc, did not sell any gold.

I bought the 1 day trial in wednesday, used it for 4 hours (2 hours of botting, 2 hours running arround having fun with the mesh file creator (yes i really had fun while creating my mesh file ;) ) and was suspended for 24 hours on thursday.

I was on my PC the entire time, there was noone near me, i even stopped the bot a few times to do some rifts.
 
Thats odd... I understand, why it takes so long to check out what the reason is ;-)

Maybe Windows Version or else, or you were just unlucky with a GM who noticed you...

2. Not all accounts have been terminated. Some have had 24 hour suspensions.
3. On suspended accounts, some characters have been rolled back to the point where Trion thinks the botting started. Some characters have been deleted completely as Trion believes that character was botted from level 6 onwards.
4. Many people on 1 day keys seem to have been spared.
5. People with accounts that have never used the bot have seen the "clean" accounts banned and the "bot" account banned.

In short, we do not yet know how Trion has selected accounts for action; nor do we know how they decide what accounts to terminate and what accounts to suspend.

What are we doing?
We have bought more Rift accounts, updated the bot and are running tests to see what it takes to get them banned.

What about warfronts and questing?
We will carry on with development. Black Garden is done and the bot intelligently goes to the Fang holder. But for obvious reasons, its no longer a priority to deliver this on June 19. We are focused on finding the anti-bot algorithms.

How long before Ryftomate is back?
We can't say. The next 48 hours are devoted to fact finding. When we know more, we will post back.

How about a "what we know so far" post? Or an update? It's been 3 days, how is it coming? Are you alive? Am I alive? I went outside yesterday, the sky was on fire with this bright orange ball of fire.... I ran back inside. The world is ending anyway.... RUN NAO!

We're alive, the sky is not falling, and the apocalypse is not happening

We are counting our eggs and making sure they hatch.

We're trying to fix and add the important stuff before release so that this banwave business doesn't happen again

Also why dont you guys like change the process name to something random over "Ryftomate"

OOOh, and will they be on pause until we log into the new bot for the first time? Or will they activate the first day the bot is back online?
 
I haven't receive any emailregarding the bans of my 2 accounts. When I'm logging in rift I get the error with account banned. If I try to log on their website > the same, all I can see is that your account has been banned. Is there a chance to get these accounts back?

Keys will have time added to make up for the downtime.

We have found some thing but don't know that we have found the full range of anti-cheat yet. The plan is to do a release by Friday with questing working and that users are advised to restrict use to trial accounts until we have a better handle on things. The shop will stay closed to new buyers for at least 2 weeks.
