Restarted this one, the limsa-lominsa marauder.
The bot seems to run far away from the quest points ( the previous location where it just stood still ) and is now running into walls etc.

Sorry to be going back and forth, must be annoying. Would you like me to stick to one to make things a bit more manageable?

It went back and tried to turn in the quest it missed, but I'm assuming that's on a different map so the bot doesn't know how to navigate to it?

Yeh, it is on a different map. Will go back to hand in manually then continue the bot.

If you get to the right map, start the bot, let it turn it in, and then stop the bot, move back to the map you were on, and then start it again, it should be fine. Basically:

- Move to correct map manually
- Start bot, let it turn in
- Move back to previous map manually
- Start bot

It should be fine I would imagine. It's hard right now because unlike WoW where there are many zones all on one map, FFXIV has all the zones split off on different maps and the bot can't navigate between them automatically right now.

I got to the point where the bot stopped moving again. It seemed to miss a series of quests.
Now it isn't moving and I can see a Main Scenario quest giver which it doesn't want to do.
Handing out quest "Plowshares to Swords"

Shall I pick up this quest, is it something the bot will come back to, or is it an error?

If the bot isn't acting super weird, it's probably fine. I would imagine it's doing the local sidequests before doing the Main Scenario quest, that's all.

You can always also look at the profile itself and see the order in which the profile does the quests, the profile isn't hard to read.

Thought as much, just thought I ought to check / report it.
Will move back to the zone and restart the bot.
 
Awesome Script so far, Uldah_1-15 made it perfectly to the last Quest. What about the higher quest, are they comming soon ?

Glad to hear it worked perfectly for you.

These profiles take a ridiculous amount of time to make, it's taken easily over 100 hours to make the three profiles you have so far, only about 10k lines of code. The 15-50 profile will be far longer, have far more quests, and take far longer to debug decently. I'm constantly working on it but I have no ETA.
 
Limsa Lominsa Finished

Other than getting caught out by a fate spawning on top and not giving in a quest item it was fully afkable.
 
Uldah 1-15 seems to have a few navigation issues (no viable path) around level 10. Seems to be a wrong map id, as moving to the correct map will kick it back in gear. I'll post a log for you later when I'm home so you can see and remedy at your convenience. Initial thoughts are that this will be completely afkable. Well done. I know how long these profiles take to make. Thanks.
 
For reference, in the second post of this thread I added a list of quests which the bot picks up but cannot complete currently. If the bot is going along and isn't completing a quest, the likelihood is that the quest is on that list. If it's not, something weird probably happened and you should post here about it, following the guidelines for posting an issue.
 
Hi, first off amazing job with the bot =) very good.

I have a issue hmm my pc crashed while bot was running i started the game my toon was dead i went manually to the spot where i was previous and now everytime i try to start the bot i get the error No viable path from <232.295, 112.8467, -260.912> to <495.8418, 79.19914, -95.65887> in 00:00:09.6885304 ms

Am i doing something wrong? I have done everything you said on the first post, I am loading up the Questing - 1-15 Gridania (Lancer/Archer/Conjurer) file and when the intro scene finally finishes, it does not move at all. It just equips a ring.

EDIT: Didn't realise it couldn't do those tutorial quests

It can do them. By the look of it you didn't start the bot during the intro cutscene, but after it? The bot tries to select mouse controls, but I'm guessing you clicked that too. There is no way to tell if you clicked that already, so the bot tries to click it and it stays there waiting forever. If you had accepted the first quest it would have worked. I have a hypothetical fix in mind for this issue that I haven't had a chance to try yet.
