[Official] Exilebuddy Support is Ending Today

Yes - i'm aware of - and not want to blame anyone, but at least i'm a customer, who bought hearthbuddy and seen it not being supportet for a very long time, and not having several real long downtimes of exilebuddy, waiting as a faithful customer, try not to complain about long wait times, because thats the way live goes... but with a "we stop immediatly" because of buisness reasons... sry but i don't get it. If you say "can't tell you why, there is no other way" at the first post... okay i'd accept it. But for buisness reasons you should need to take care of your customers and look for a more acceptable solution to stop this bot... just my 5 cents

Can't hate him to much but seriously the way this went down never makes me never want to touch another buddy product

I expect to get banned for writing this,but its np.Because of the lifetime keys they dont make much profit because most ppl buy the lifetime keys and not the montly.To fix the money income they are shutting down this bot out of nowhere and i expect that in few weeks tops there will be "another bot" from "another company".It will be exilebuddy but only reworked version of it and with no lifetime licenses.I just hope that this message wont be deleted fast and i expect the banhammer comming for me.Sadly we will have to use the other available bot...Mby if all the exilebuddy users start using the other one it will get more advanced.

yep, this is the final nail in the coffin for me regarding buddy bots. they won't get any more money from me. having us wait for the bot to be rewritten, new tools being written to make updating easier, etc. then 2-3 days of being able to bot, working on plugins and getting them back up to a working state only for it to be shut down. fucking great, just fucking great. can I bill buddy bots for my wasted time?

Hearthbuddy is one of the most supported bots of ours,2 devs working on it daily

SF logic bugs,improvements etc getting fixed within 48 hours max
 
It would be better to switch to 1 month key distribution strategy. You'll get much more profit. I have 12 keys and was on way to expand before ascendancy downtime. So it would be $120+ monthly only from one customer.
 
Buy key at 1/24/2016, bot about 1 month and wait >1 month... today i lost €60 and have nothink :) nice buddy
POE its onlyone game i play, now i need to learn and buy some new game key to change my key to other bot ? :))
 
just do payment 20$ per month
many guys will agree with me and you will have you money for support this project
 
Well, lets hope they can revisit their decision and at least try for a period a new business model, to kill a project like this after a 1+ month overhaul is senseless, Talk to us, give us alternativies, work with your EB's comunitunity to fix the financial problem.
 
3 of my friends bought it for a month just 3 days ago when the beta was released. So many people depend on this to pay bills. Figure out some kind of solution!

i am around since day one when i started as a simple user of Gatherbuddy (for those who remember old forums),Bossland himself Teamviewered my machine to setup GB for me :p

later i became an employee and i have met Bossland and Hawker (Bossland Gmbh owners) irl a few times,having personal contact with those guys i can assure you whatever decision they make (in a positive or even a negative way for their own bussiness) was never easy.

you cant keep everyone happy even when thats your intention,thats true

no one was happy when Riftbuddy,Winterbuddy gone,no one is happy now for Exilebuddy
this is a company tho that has to deal with costs,payments,employees and legal stuff.
 
nice. 2months working on setting everything up. getting 2 new rigs, preparing them.
run into 2 months downtime - after the downtime when finally ready to make money you kill the project.

seriously. you guys s....

thanks for wasting all our time.
