i didnt said anything about the price, i also think 10k is absurd, completly on ur site but the fact that no one will buy subscription is just dumb because there is still a exchange between 2persons :p

People are talking about prices for around the 0.2-0.4 but when you Go and find a gold selling website you will get it for like around the 1€
Yes of course there are cheaper sites, but we are in this busnis most aren't in it.
 
I think this is going to be a failed attempt by blizzard to try and make up for lost subs.
 
would ppl still buy botted gold if we just give more gold than token does? i'm worried blizzard might ban ppl for buying and selling gold more frequently than these days

I think the price will be high. Like 70-100k for a 19.99 token, anything else wouldnt make sense. The only question i ask myself if ever this is true, what will happen to the normal gold market. Ppl who dont farm alot and dont buy token wouldnt be able to buy pets, enchants, boes anymore cause of too much gold circling around due to tokens = 100k each.

Did you have comprehension in English class? I used the words "Let's assume" and "theoretically" for a reason. I used simple, small numbers to illustrate the issue as I don't know the current actual prices.
 
People dont have any clue on economics it seem.. they think that if blizz charges a higher price per k gold price will go up.. and it doesnt work like that, as long as the supply is as vast as it is, it cant go up unless the demand goes up as well.. in other words blizz can only lower the price for us with the token, never up. The only thing that can make it go up is if blizz destroys the supply through bans.
And to those saying it will be around 100k.. you forget this is a business for blizz and they want to make as much money as they can.. meaning they want people buying multiple tokens to reach that 100k.

So in short, blizz should/would probably, ban the hell up of everyone so prices go up and they can charge 20$ for 20-30k... Does that ring a bell?
