I got ban a week or so ago, Botted my cleric back up to 50 :5th char botted to 50: ... no problems still rockn and Rolln WHOREGANA GET SOME BITCH lol
 
There we go.... wasnt the plat after all...

I thought after playing my account around 2 o'clock or so that everything was fine, but then I received the email below ~5:00. I made NO such request, but the email states that I did.

Almost immediately following the above email I receive a second message (below) regarding a "new account." I guess I will wait to see what happens tomorrow when I go to log in.

I got two accounts suspended..... Time for something different kids..... they can detect it.
 
I sent an appeal in, stating it was my first offense and asking why there were no warnings. I received this in return:

After reviewing pertinent logs, we have determined that the action taken against your account for the use of third party programs was correct. We will not be reversing relevant suspensions and/or notes applied to your account. It was due to the severe nature of this violation that your account was permanently suspended.

24hour just got hit!! thank god no perm!

What doesnt kill you makes you stronger ;)
 
Have not got an email, but assume I got perm banned from most of these posts.

Never got a warning, never used a public profile, never got a tell from a GM, never botted for over two hours at one time.

Most of the time I botted I was next to the PC doing the botting.
 
1 and only account suspended/banned. No email, never left it unattended, never got a whisper from anyone. Haven't actually played it in 3 days or so..
 
Got reply to my appeal email saying same as all others have said.

I did run mine unattended, but had tells set to a separate window and never when I came back did I see any missed, so unless GM messages were different dont think I got any. But oh well shit happens.

I was using Public profiles, mostly the South Telara one.
 
This is strange. I was very careful in regards to how I botted yet here I am with a banned account.

I'm wondering, if it wasn't detection in the client software, maybe something serverside? I've seen some odd things that are unique to ryftomate that don't seem to happen to other bots or while playing manually. Mobs falling through the ground for one, the butchering bug (where it butchers but doesn't loot) is another. Not saying this is it - it could be ANYTHING really, but unless something is found in the client then that really only gives one other option.
 
Still no email here, I had tells going to a separate window and also had the great little RiftIRC program running to keep an eye on the bot so I could see tells and remote in to home to answer them. Only happened a few times with friends/guildies and I replied within a few minutes - never had a tell from a GM.

Will see what the email says then probably write an appeal, but not very hopeful from what I've seen, oh well, will move on if that happens :)

Same here.. I never let it run unattended and made my own profiles, would grind a hour or 2, then go do 3-5 quests. Que for a instance, grind again.. Too wide spread to have been a result of not responding to a whisper. Looks like they did have detection afterall..
 
FUCK, got my account which I never botted with banned for 24 hours, and my character set back to before the program was detected. He is a fully geared out raid mage with a relic staff, fuck this was my life right there.

I just wrote back a really nice email hoping my main account wont be touched, we'll see.
 
Yep got me 2. damn didn't get no email yet thou so not sure if its a perma ban or just a suspended
