lame lame lame, oh well thats a risk to botting

Lost: one botted account and two non-botted (although i may have run them with the bot attached.) cant recall
 
Did anyone already get a new account and started playing without Ryftomate running?
 
How the hell it's possible ? They scanned the client ? So they can detect all Rift's bots ?
Please Hawker listen to me , I just want to finish my first lvl50 char. With this detection, I cannot trust any bots ?
 
This is some form of detection due to the following,

I did the trial on 6/14 to 6/15.

So I had 1 day of actual botting. Used it for MAYBE 3-4 hours while monitoring it.

Replied to tells from people, still actively talking to friends, etc.

Was making it not nearly as obvious. Did some WF's, etc.

I havnt used it since the patch update.

So, either..

A. They are detecting the software itself.
B. They have access to the forums and pulled our IPs and such (which I do not see shown)
C. They have access to the forums and pulled our email addresses...

I wait the message from the support to know if I got banned or suspended. But in case of ban, guess I will go back bot on aion until gw2 come out.

B. Guess hawker didn't let any acces for anyone to let see such things
C. Never use the same email for such forum/webiste and game account even if no one can see it. Same for password, pseudo, ....
 
so has anyone at all survive this tsunami? or did we all get banned?
 
lol i knew it was to good to be true ; _ ; just when i learn how to use this awesome prog they find a way of detecting it and ban both my accounts...damn u trion!

hope i only get a 24hr one as it's my first time><

Fuck no. If im banned im done. The bot can only do so much for you, i am not gonna refarm ALL the dungeons and get raid ready all over again.

B,C would be illegal would it not?
 
People that used afk jumping bots or got caught using macrogoblin just got susspensions why do they ban us instantly? I mean we did the same we had a bot running..where's the difference?!
 
maybe it has something to do with the frequent disconnects happening days ago before the update.. maybe that was part of the detection routine who knows

It is definitely *not* C. One of my accounts that was banned has no association with these forums. Completely different email address.

there's no concrete info yet whether its a perma or a 24hr

Yes and No.

Yes if they had it in the TOS saying something along the lines of "You can not be associated to TRION in any form"...or along those lines.
Yes if they had the TOS, and required you to be a member of the site to download the bot, therefore to detect it.
No, if Ryftomate does not have anything than the traditional TOS that comes with vBulletin.

It would only ever be option A. Option B and C are illegal and they can be shutdown for breaking those laws. It was just obviously detected. I ran it for a few hours day of purchase now I cannot login. Maybe everyone got banned who used the bot or maybe its even just a server glitch. I was reading trion forums and theres a lot of posts about bans. Theres even a few who have not recived emails and they called trion to find NO REASON for a ban and it was lifted. Just give them a call and you might be lucky.

True, HOWEVER, if they pulled this email, then pulled your last known IP's..then crossreferenced it with other accounts......
