I get the feeling, or have an opinion, that the hopes of Ryfto finally coming back online will outlive the desirability of Rift itself. Sure glad i paid for a full year. Woot
 
you had several ban waves now.

You did some changes, thought that was the problem, but it wasn't, bam next ban.

Then again and again.

Now you didn't knew what caused the bans and rewrote the hook(just in case) and now you see it still isn't the problem...well, you have to admit, that doesn't look that good.

I mean...if even a complete rewrite doesn't help.... =(

Don't get me wrong, this is not a flame or anything. If there is a dev team that gets this thing done, then it is you..but sometimes, yeah, sometimes there are limits...

We haven't done a complete re-write but we are looking at it now. We have budget to go on for a considerable time, like well into 2012, so the story has a few chapters yet. Its very frustrating that we can't offer the product to anyone except gold farmers who can handle the banwaves.
 
Now with the addon interface, isn't there a possibility to go away from source injection and use the same methods as honorbuddy?

So you just read data from pointers and handle movement via key emulation.
 
Myself dev's i think it's time to call it a day on Rift to be honest, you have pushed so much effort in this bot that you have forgot about your 1st success (HB) and the fixes for HB are getting pushed out every blue moon and there poor patches. As you can tell Rift is not a bigg success so i cant see it being a big money earner but a bigg head-ache since you have been detected so many time's in not the 1st year (Dented your customer's confidence) of it's release and you cant seem to find out how, I would pull the plug and start focusing more on D3 and SWTOR since they look like they will have a bigg Sub base and a more earner like HB when you 1st released.

WJ17 - it looks promising to me, bud. We'll keep going for a bit ... hopefully we'll have a working one sooner than later
 
Tony i have been around since the beggining of GB, the HB/GB updates were daily with a maximum of a week with a big flow of awesome updates and bugg fixes, now were looking at 3 week update with tiny updates that dont address the bugg's that people have addressed many of time's before,

Im no way disrespecting the dev's (or yourself) atall and i have the upmost respect for use, but i just dont see the point in this bot in my eye's, Trion's dev's dont want botter's in there game and there constantly whipping the arses of all bot dev's over and over, all i see is are dev's wasteing alot of there time in this bot when there is not many people playing this game, look at this website to be an example, it's dead, no one post's anymore and can you see a flood of new customer's buying this bot when it's back up when it's been detected 3 time's in not even a year? because i certainly dont.

Like i mentioned in my previous post, the dev's should pull the plug on this game and sell the source for the loss then focus everything on HB untill there bigg money earner's come into play, D3/SWTOR.

Im calling out to Apoc, Raphus, Hawker, Main, nesox & Bossland do you really see a future in this Bot and game?
 
just for the info

a diff dev team works on Hb/Gb and a diff dev team on Ryftomate,thats why i posted above that there is no delay

Hb is a stable bot now,cant be updated every day but only if there are major changes or bugs

like Hawker states above "the story has a few chapters yet" for Ryftomate
 
I spell words that have g's in the with two of them regardless if thats proper for not, ggod damnit.

I'm not a gold farmer. Nor Chinese, I can handle the ban waves. If me doing some sort of "testing" botting accounts will help the team out, so be it. Money is not really an issue here. For me at this point it is more of a moral victory over Try-Yawn. I have been here from the beginning of RoM, I will see this through to its conclusion. You need accounts? Ask. Want me to log piles of data while running account after account into the ground? I will. But this sitting around sucks lol I haven't even played Rift in weeks. If I'm not botting, I'm bored with it tbh.......lol Let me start doing some testing, seeing what I can come up with, I may be able to help, I may not. /shrug.... But this is not my first rodeo, I have botted for nearly 10 years. I understand fully the risks, and expect to get these test accounts banned. You will not hear any QQ from me, but please, put me in some sort of Alpha team, assign me some parameters (i.e. just load the bot but don't use it, use the bot but only for 1 hour a day, use the bot from a different location every time, mac&hw spoof them, then run it......etcetc) and cut me loose! You guys have poepl willing to help you out here that AREN'T going to piss and moan if they get banned. Like I said, I simply want to beat their team, to me now it is a moral victory.....one we need to win, imo.
