So, left my 3 bots do their thing all the night. I wake up in the morning, 2 crashed, 1 continued to bot. Before I leave to work, I tried to reconnect them. The first crashed bot run as expected. The other... really surprised me.

The bot's diablo folder was System Locked(like it belonged to windows or something, even the icon had the small lock besides), it had no Onwers(one user on my PC, admin rights), it couldn't be deleted (as it was a system file) as well as I couldn't run the diablo3.exe(said I did not have the rights to do this). So... i had to delete the game's folder using DOS... and copy-paste a new one.

All of my 3 bots crush a lot lately, but this? changing magically the properties of the game's folder??? That's a first.

P.S. I updated all my DB clients to latest beta version last night.

I have same problem. My C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III folder was totaly fucked. So I had to make/copy a new one. And that one became weird aswell. So has happende two times :/ very weird.

installing games in Program Files is usually a stupid idea, especially if you don't have admin rights

Going blind in faith that everything should continue to bot without a relogger is a stupid idea -_-

He said that the permissions showed no owners for the folder and that he has 1 account on the computer, with admin rights (i.e. the only account he has on the computer is an admin). He has no issues with access lol. Should read deeper into his post before you flame him.

This happened to me before. I had to delve into the folder permissions and reset everything.

It was f'ing annoying and kind of random.

Something got corrupted for sure. Trying to run multiple bots on one copy of the game? One copy of DB? Bad stick of ram (lol)?

Weird.
