There's already been multiple confirmations that they took all the gold off the accounts. Just be happy we get to play again!

Connect you to Battle.net -> At the top right you can select a character -> Select the char who was banned -> Then click on the little pocket to go the the Web Auction House -> On the auction house page you can check golds available on your char ;)

Unbanned too :D
 
Lmao it feels so refreshing to log on your character and have 0 copper :D:D

They deleted all gold, everything else is still here (gear, achievements, resources etc.)

Got an e-mail from Blizzard starting from:

"Hello,

We previously suspended this account due to exploitation of game mechanics.
The suspension period is over and your account is now accessible.

In addition to the suspension, we removed all gold, honor points, and conquest
points associated with the account."
 
well then, they won't see me back in wow. no point in going back after losing all my gold (which i didnt earn by botting btw)

I mean a part of it, ok, but ALL OF IT ?!!!!!!!!

I had 400k+ LEGIT gold on my account !!
 
Did you loot any mobs that you killed with the bot? Did you gather anything with it? Did you fish/garrison/etc? Did you craft items and sell them on the ah with the items you gained from the bot? If so, then you earned gold with the bot, therefore they wiped out all of the gold since they cannot determine what you earned legitimately or illegitimately. This actually isn't the first time they've done this for accounts that have been suspended for exploitive activty

I thought I saw somebody mention within the thread using guild bank gold to buy a token to re-activate. Is that possible?

you don't need to pay to look at your gold. just go to wow armory type in your chars name then click log into account and next to the chars name there will be a pull down menu click the bag and you will see the gold or lack of it;)
 
Can confirm I've lost all my gold. I used the bot for fishing, luckily the last weeks before my ban I decided not to sell the fish yet since the price dropped very low, meaning I still have around 5k worth of fish lying around. Unfortunately I lost my gold aswell on realms/characters I used no bot at all on. But ohwell. Glad I got my account back at least, and I understand blizz's decision.
