Not making anything (gold or RMAH)

I've only been up for about 2 weeks if you take into consideration patch days, and the first week of learning all the profiles, setup, leveling, etc. and I haven't gotten anything worth more than 8mil gold at most. I'm getting a lot of legendaries and just hit paragon 40 on one of my characters but they're all crap. The AH shows them going for 30k or something. All salvageable. The ones I did find that were good were about 10mil, MAYBE a 20mil immortal king's belt that I decided to use instead of selling. But even then it's only like 50mil gold if I were to have to sold it all.

How are people making enough gold to hit billions?? I barely have enough to upgrade the gear on the bot. Certainly not RMAH material. Are you stacking MF? I have 60% MF on gear already and running either mp0 or mp1. Good amount of legendaries but shitty rolls!
 
Sounds like you are only running 1 bot. And its all about RNG! I found 4 items lately 100M, 850M, 1600M and 3700M.

I've been botting ever sinse start. Never found anthing above 400M and then this weekend i get 4 godlike items... Its luck and RNG

and about gear.. Its all about paragon lvl. all mine are 80+. most are 100

Geez WTF. I would kill for something worth 40 mil. I only got one once and that was a few months back when I was playing legit and found a Natalya's ring. I'm gonna step it up to Mp1.

Maybe I just need to level higher to 80+. I have 2 bots but the second one got started later and is only at paragon 20.

Do you have any magic find on your gear?
 
Adivce - if you dont have 10 bots with high paragon by now, forget about making profits of this game.
 
18 bots here, most of em over plvl 50, a few 100 (2 of em banned recently ;<), earning less than 2 months ago with 6 bots. Things ain't looking good.
 
I got ~40bots, and I have almost same daily income as I had with ~5bots ~2.5months ago, also, it's a lot harder to sell gold (if I get to sell it at all, since EU rmah is pretty dead), I also lost some money on buying "good" items with low bid (compared to their buyout & value) and then not being able to sell these at RMAH until I undercut my self enough (which actually give me less than 0.25e/million, but at least, I get something).

Also, I'd like to point out how much time consuming is it, since every 2nd I need ~7-8hours (at least) to check all items & clear stashes.

So my suggestion to anyone who didn't start this yet, you really shouldn't start doing this now, maybe wait for some new major patch, or expansion, since this way, it's really hard to get your money back, and not to mention that you probably don't want to do this for free, but to make some profit, it can take quite some time right now, unless you think you'll be the one to win the jack pot (get perfect items all the time), if so, please, go buy a lottery ticket and give me some % for idea if you really win jack pot.

i would sticky this, because a lot of people comes here thinking that botting would give them money, but no guys it's not this way... or we all would be rich players!

as u can see most items cant be sold at all, people prefer to buy for gold, so IF u can sell gold u get really low price for that and blizzard takes 30% of ur gold sales... so u do the math and u know what u can get... just dont bot at all
 
So what you're saying is I should run 100+ bots to make money? I'm going to sell my retirement funds to start farming Diablo 3 for money... Hope I make 2 mil+ per year :D.
 
you realize some people are farming strictly gold with GF% at about 500k an hour right? if you run 4-10 of these bots 24 hours a day you will surely accumulate gold

if you are running 1 bot expecting to make billions, well good luck

most legendary drops are shit and by most i mean literally 99%+

how long have you been playing this game?

Lol this game is not dead at all.. There are millions online. If you cant sell items is coz they are shit. And who wanna buy shit? That is right NO one.

Most gear is shit. Coz if all gear was avg to good you would make even less. Perfect/godlike/VERY good items sell for 500m+. Rest sell for 1M and up. But 10 accounts with 500k gph + items is easy 40 euro per 24 hour. That is 1200 Euro you get for FREE per month.

3 euro and 5 euro aint much sure. But its FREE :D and 3 and 5 euro all the time do sum it up ;)
