Not gonna lie but... we need a "restart at checkpoint" plugin.

I think everyone would benefit from it. Being able to restart from the most recent checkpoint and continue on from there... rather than dying and restarting the entire profile from the beginning.

I know there are people working on it. That's just my input at least.
 
the issue with that is that the profile would have to reset itself on death, and the profile devs would have to jump through hoops to make shit work

So can the bot "determine" what area it is in, so say festering woods, and when death occurs player will revive at last CP, take TP to town, then take WP to the area or last WP taken, then there is a specific "if death occurs" portion in the profile to follow to the next section...


So for example, profile goes Leroics Manor, Leroics Grounds then TPs to Cemetary...so we run Leoric and then TP to cemetery, start running there and DIE. Bot will revive, Tp to town, take TP to Cemetery and then run a specific altered "death" profile...?
 
My guess would be to make a function that the profile creater has the option to run a "Death script" at any point they like. For example if your route is a butcher run you can have checkpoints set in the route script itself. If the run is Go to cemetary, go to festering woods, then go to butcher. then you could have a "if condition player == dead" run death script A at checkpoint A (if player died in cemetary) so on and so forth for the rest. The little programming background i have makes me believe that this would not be two hard to accomplish, but honestly i would not know for sure lol

Yes this would mean that the profile devs would have to do more work, but some functionality is better than no functionality =] Just my two cents
 
well, if that so hard, then we can just skip step or zone where char dies and continue from next other step
 
It has many possible implementations.
What I think is best for champion farming is upon death go next part.
Profile creator sets each area in a <area>....</area> and upon death it will teleport to town and carry on next area.
This will be very easy to implement and will not cut our nv AND we wont lose too many champs (usually 2-3 in open areas)

that exactly what i mean, and seems not hard to implement
