NoobRage - Holy Priest

takes about 3 seconds for it to update or whatever soo if someone get hit to like 30% hp it takes 3 secs for it to start heal him :S

Sometimes when I have an enemy player targeted it keeps trying to cast Holy Wood: Sanctuary on him, and pretty much doesn't do anything else until I die.

When all that ranting it over with ;) When it works, it is on fire....! :D

Thanks for the log dude. The problem isnt lightwell... Its arcane torrent. I thought I made the cast manager check to see if you had that spell. That will be an easy fix.

edit: Just uploaded a fix for the cast manager that adds a has spell check. This should fix the problem.

Would it be possible to control Holy Word Sanctuary? As it stands this CC is just tearing through my mana.

Thanks for your feedback! yes, I can add a setting for this. Usually when im having mana issues on a new toon, my first step is to turn down greater heal. You could try that. I will have an update up this week. I have a lot of settings I need to add for all the CCs.

Little more info i was healing in LFR i have about 3k spirit roughly 125k mana and i was just running oom so fast.

Also on your new Disc CC i noticed I can't change between inner fire or will anymore. Did i miss the setting in the GUI? I'm going to check the xml file later.

No this is one of the settings I gotta add too. I'm not doing strings anymore for those settings. I learned how to do actual options, so I'm going to do that for all the ones where you used to have to type the word in. In the Holy Priest one, you can select between sanctuary and serenity, all the settings are going to be like that soon.

Oh... you dont have flash heal at 50 for holy do you? I noticed that a couple days ago and changed it.
 
I love this CC but why does it SPAM PW:Fortitude!??!?!

I think it might have to do with ppl having a higher level version of the spell like -- [Runescroll of Fortitude II] -- anyway to fix this?!

or is there a setting that I am missing.....

i have the same problem, while in raid he is spamming fortitude and/or shadow protection. most fights start with my priest lost 40/50% of his mana cause of this
 
I put an update up just now that should fix this among some other stuff that I worked on last weekend.

Did some experimenting with pvp/arenas. Pvp is still not something that I am good at.

I use it for LFR, HCs and BGs.
I use Sanctuary for LFR and BGs.
Serenity for Dungeons, have had serious issues with Sanctuary in that scenario.

One thing I have noticed in AV, is that the Dismount to Heal option doesn't always work when it tries to cast Fortitude and Shadow Protection.
In the attached log it happened several times in a row around 12:19.

I have had some difficulty implementing the dismount to heal setting. It actually took me a few hours of banging my head on the keyboard. I thought it would be as easy as "if setting is off and im mounted, stand there like idiot" or "if setting is on do whatever you want". When i tried to test this out in orgrimmar, my dude just stood like and idiot regardless of settings. When I tried it in a bg, it seemed to be working. This is one of the things I will have to look at some more.

I think sanctuary is not too well suited for dungeons. Dungeons don't really have situations that require stacking and people seem to be a little more focused on their own performance rather than mechanics. So ya, I can see how you could probably run into some mana issues with it during dungeon runs.
 
Ok... It works, i mean, it heals... but it doesn't take advantage of what the spec has to offer...
In raids... It should wisely use FH to build 3 serenity stacks, and then (only then) use PoH, followed by CoH. It should also keep renew on the tanks (if possible) and PoM bouncing. I see it uses HEAL too much, and sometimes (i don't know why) it doesn't cast anything when the tank is about to die... I know, we Holy priests are not supposed to be tank healers, but if the tank dies, we'll all wipe... and besides, healing a tank who's about to die, it's a great chance to build up serenity stacks...
I know yours is the only healing CC for Holy Priests, and since the creation of the "new rule", many developers have gone away... So, I thank you for being here and develop the CC. I will be more than happy to help you improve it.
 
the Ultimate Priest/paladin cc is still here. I never play Holy and I think it blows. This is good feedback though. Ill check it out.
 
Ultimate Priest/Paladin is the best Holy CC for heroics, but it doesn't work in raids. You can check out its post and you'll see everybody is complaining about it. Neither the original developer nor his successor are currently supporting that CC. So, the only one who's currently working on a priest class, it's you. There were some classes before the "RULE", such as Fpsware's and All in One, but they're all gone...

Ok, this is what needs to happen (as I understand it)
1) It needs to cast FH (or BH if you're hurt as well) just to build serendipity stacks. As it is, it will cast it only when a certain player reach the HP limit (which is 35% or something).
2) It needs to keep renew on both tanks, and perhaps, a couple of dps.
3) It needs to react faster when the tank (or tanks) is about to die. I don't know why, but it takes a long time. Perhaps, switch to chakra: serenity, heal the tank and switch back... but if this is not possible at least it should react faster. Singular is way faster, but it is very, very inefficient in terms of mana. It just casts FH all the time, but it does react fast when someone is taking damage.

I always end up last in LFR. I think this is due to the fact that it doesn't buff the AOE healing with serendipity and because of its slow reaction time. Other than that, it heals.

Is It Possible to disable Fear Ward buffing?

And It seems to always use PW: Fort / Shadow even though its just been buffed by the bot :P

This bot is very good for raids! pretty high healing. But it seems very slow in heroics, espically when it don't react very fast when the tank is low health, it still maybee heal a dps instead before it goes over to tank and sometimes that's to late, need to be fixed that u can be faster with flash heal on tanks.

But i like this cc very much, thx! :D

Is there a way to make it keep casting renew on the tanks while i'm in Chakra: Sanctuary? It seems to ignore renew...

Hi,

Since the Ultimate CC has slowed down with updates, I've been looking at a new one and this looks good so far. One issue just had now is when the party takes some multiple damage (5 man cata dung now and all players down to half health due to various reasons). The bot started to go DPS and cast things like shadow word: Pain and Mana burn, Did it twice and had to step in.
