This has not been updated to reflect what you can use in Heavensward. Also, I did not make any of these add-ons I just put all the links together to link you to the right area. I am not sure if Zekken is currently working with Heavensward as I chose to turn it off and just use a healing chocobo companion. Posting in the Zekken thread will be a better place to get some answers, you will probably have to post your log to them as well.

Zekken Thread

Hi. I started FFXIV recently and i would like to start paying a bot for automated crafting, gathering and leveling classes/jobs. I'm not a bot expert so i have some questions before buying this bot. Btw, sorry if this is not the place to ask:

1) Is this bot noob friendly? Like easy to setup, not needing to know how to code or anything like that?

2) Why there are paid plugins? If i'm paying for this bot wouldn't that be enough for crafting, gathering and fate grinding? If i don't buy paid plugins, am i going to have a bad experience through crafting, gathering or fate botting?

That's it. I'm checking Rebornbuddy and other bots and this one seems to be the best for me but these paid plugin makes me wonder the quality of the bot itself without them.

20-30 is a pain in the butt for Fate leveling. What are you guys doing here? There isnt enough pops in Hawthorne Hut to make it worthwhile.

I always did Quarrymill from 20-30/5, then Costa Del Sol until 40. Camp Dragonhead until 50 if botting, NThan if playing by hand, all the way to 60.

is camp dragonhead really the best for level 40? seems to die alot if the zone isn't really active

As a n00b...whats the best way to use RB to level a 2nd job? I want to get my Rogue level up as I already have my Pugilist so I can become a Ninja!

if you read the initial post he explains the best way to level with the fate bot

also its down right now (as of this post)

Using patrol decreases my xp/hour significantly, and also leads to more deaths & repair/teleport bills. I found it better to just run the fatebot with zekken and repear.

Toyed a lot with this. Cwh is garbage xp. Things hit harder and have more xp and it's way way slower. You can easily stay in mor dhona til 55. Fewer people than nthan meaning less reportings and more xp per hour very consistently. I keep all my guys in mor dhona til at least 52. Almost identical xp to cwh fates, you can solo every fate except even zekken won't reliably avoid bad breath on the morbol boss. And there's pretty much no downtime between fates in mor dhona. Something new constantly pops up.

Exbuddy flight works mostly fine in forelands so after mor dhona that's a decent choice til 58, when hinterlands is most relevant. But it's slow going and a lot of ways to get overwhelmed. Even as a warrior with a healing chicken.

Beginners Guide - Fate bot, Plugins, Profiles and more

Hello! My goal is to consolidate a lot of the information that is on this forum to limit the learning curve when starting out with RebornBuddy. I would like to say thank you to the developers who put in the long hours to develop and support these routines, plugins and profiles.

I have noticed a lot of people asking "Is it worth it?" - The answer is YES!, it takes some time to figure out how to utilize and discover all of the plugins and routines that people are adding but once you do it is amazing.

A lot of Profiles and Plugins are available as SVN download, I recommend using this feature because it is easy to quickly update anything you download through SVN. Please follow the guide below if you require help using these.
How to setup SVN

If you need help post your log in the applicable thread be it Support for RB questions, or if it is 3rd party post in the thread where it originated. Look at the link below on how to post your log.
How to post a log

If you haven't already read the RebornBuddy guide I suggest you do so here by following the link below, some of the information is a bit dated but it will show you how to set the bot up. Also read the forum rules to get a better idea of what to post and where to post it to if you have issues this is the best way to get them resolved.

Reborn Buddy Guide

*MAX SESSIONS* - If your bot crashes and still thinks your key is in use you can cancel that session from this link... https://www.buddyauth.com/

*This version is not support * - There has most likely been an update to FF14 and you must wait until RB has been updated to be compatible. This usually doesn’t take very long.

New Final Fantasy Players - I suggest you take a look through this progression chart in the link below. The bot will greatly automate a lot of the regular things we do but we still need to make sure we are unlocking everything we need as Final Fantasy is a very quest based game. Unlocking all the Aetheryte's (Crystal's located in major cities that allow you to teleport) is necessary to utilize a lot of the profiles that people have made so I suggest you do so.

FF14 Progress Guide

Combat Routines - There are several combat routines that are better than the default, I like to use the Ultima Routine as it works for me. Try out different ones to see which one fits your needs.

  • Kupo - Default combat routine, well made and works great for fates or anything else you can throw at it.
  • Ultima Combat Routine - Depending on what class I am leveling I might switch up to Ultima if I like the way it fights.
    Ultima
  • Kupper - I like this for Combat Assist on my Bard, I am told it is very good for Ninja's as well.
    Kupper
  • Magitek - I believe this is still the go-to for healing, I haven't tried it out yet as I am primarily a DPS player.
    Magitek
  • MoreDots - I've read that this is currently the best combat assist for Black Mage as you can toggle between single target and AOE damage.
    MoreDots

Plugins - I wish the bot came pre-loaded with all of the great plugins the developers make on here, here are a list of the ones I use...

  • Zekken - *If you plan on leaving for long periods of time there is a chance that your character can try to avoid AOE and become stuck, still good for grinding mobs in the open*Zekken will allow your character to dodge the telegraphed AOE attacks by monsters.
    Zekken
  • Agil - Agil has a few cool options, it is a gear repairer, optimizer (Can auto-equip gear in your inventory based off of which piece has higher stats) and a spirit bonding function.
    Agil
  • *Updated*Gourmet Guy - This plugin will eat food for you while your bot runs, thanks to Wheredidigo for updating it!
    GourmetGuy V2
  • *NEW*Fate Teleporter + Atma Farming - This plugin has two primary functions: 1. Teleport you zone to zone as you level using fate bot. 2. Teleport you to Atma zones at optimal times for efficient Atma farming using the FateBot.
    Fate Teleporter
  • Lisbeth - This is a plugin that automates crafting, just plug in the recipes you would like to create and hit start!
    Lisbeth
  • Lisbeth Helper - This is a UI extension for Lisbeth, it helps you create your Orders.yaml files for Lisbeth instead of manually typing everything out.
    Lisbeth Helper
  • *Updated*Patrol - Kills monsters while waiting for next fate to begin, great way to maximize experience gain.
    Patrol
  • *NEW*Destiny - This plugin will go through all the different classes that you currently have, level them to the appropriate level per zone, then move on to the next zone. This is a great way to level multiple classes at the same time. Make sure you leave your FateBot settings to "Return to Atheryte" for this plugin to function properly.
    Destiny
  • ChocoboRacer - MGP farming, this is the first plugin I have seen that helps us grind for some of the new golden saucer items. I have not had a chance to test it yet but I will be trying it in the near future.
    ChocoboRacer
  • Quack! - A log out timer encase you only want to run the bot for a fixed amount of time.
    Quack!

Fate Bot - This is your best friend for leveling up your characters, partnered with all of those plugins it is very efficient. A few things to note about setting this up, you want to go into your BotBase settings to configure it correctly to avoid running straight into high level fates or running to a boss fate when it is impossible to make it on time.

  • Use the level requirements
  • Adjust the % complete at which you run to boss fates
  • Add certain fates that your character has trouble with to your ban list
  • Make sure you have your mount unlocked (Level 20 main scenario quest) See instructions below.
    Chocobo Unlock Quest
  • Ask your FC to turn on the bonus exp buff before running the bot for a long period, see below for list of available FC boosts.
    Free Company Actions
  • Always use GourmetGuy so you have the extra 3% food bonus
  • Log off in town for the rested EXP
  • Once you hit level 30 you can obtain a choco companion, do the quest and start to use him while you do fate bots. As you level him up spec him into healer and then you will die less and have the potential to solo boss fates. Instructions below.
    Chocobo Companion Quest

Fate Area's

I read a fate guide online for which areas to fate in by level, I have yet to try all the locations but these are the ones I use in my leveling. If you would like to check it out for yourself you can go here Renzo's Fate Guide

I like to run the Fate Bot overnight while I sleep (8-11hrs) and utilize the bot for less AFKable activities while I am around my computer. Ex. Combat Assist & DoH Leveling. I am currently in the process of timing the Fate Grind to try to optimize it as much as possible. I am currently bouncing back and fourth between the FateAutoLeveler and just leveling it in one zone for several hours if I am going to be near by.

  • Level 1-10: I like to run the Grind Profile (Grind 1-50 below) for levels 1-10. If you purchased the collectors pack you can get a 20% exp bonus from the Helm of Light, ask your FC to turn on the 5-10% exp bonus, and always turn on GourmetGuy to keep your 3% food bonus up. This will give you a total of 28-33% bonus exp. This will take about 1.5 hours to complete.
*NEW*Grind Profile (Please use updated version that Dajinn posted)
  • Level 11-20: Summerford farms After getting to level 10, I then run fates in Summerford for the next 9 or so hours to get to level 22. The exp gain seems great but I have yet to test other areas.
  • Level 21-25: Hawthorne Hut Atma zone, heavily populated with lots of fates.
  • Level 26-30: Little Ala Mhigo
  • Level 31-39: Costa Del Sol
  • Level 40-50: Camp Dragonhead There are a lot of different fates here and still pretty populated. (10 grinding fates)

Custom Profiles - From the drop down select the "OrderBot" botbase, then select "Load Profile" and choose your desired profile. There will be more specific instructions within the threads of each profile. When it comes to gathering you should be buying different food, I recommend one that gives +Gathering% this will help with the success of mining to limit failed attempts for more exp. If you progress in your Grand Company ranks at all you can purchase Company & Engineering Survival Manuals. These give significant exp boosts to mining or gathering but will run out in 2 hours or when the maximum exp has been reached (Level 1: 20,000/Level 2: 40,000). If you have been fate grinding at all the Grand Company Seal's should not be an issue. These are only effective until about levels 25-30 as the exp cap will be reached very quickly in the higher levels when you are acquiring more exp per activity.
Company Survival Manual

  • Gathering Mega Thread (Leveling, Questing, Grinding) - As the name states it really is a Mega Thread. Kagepande has put together a bunch of excellent profiles for Mining and Botany that not only level you from 1-50 but also do the quests! The bot will grind to the appropriate level then it will go and complete the quests. He is currently working on the Fishing Profile to go with this and personally I can't wait to try it out.
    Gathering Mega Thread
  • Level 1-50 Quest Pack - Completes main scenario quest, a few manual things need to be done but very good profile.
    1-50 Quest Pack
  • Mining 1-50 Grind Profile - Works very well, good way to make some start up gil by selling what you have collected from level 1-50, for new players.
    Mining 1-50 Grind Profile
  • Botany 1-50 Grind Profile - I haven't tested this yet but if it's as good as the Mining profile then it is worth picking up.
    Botany 1-50 Grind Profile
  • Fishing Ultimate Profile - Not yet tested.
    Fishing Ultimate Profile
  • Unlock all DoTH - This profile will travel around and unlock all of the crafting classes for you, this will save you some leg work later on when you want to tackle leveling those crafters.
    Unlock All DoTH
  • *NEW*Material Grind - Collection of custom profiles for grinding assorted crafting materials.
    Material Grind
  • *NEW*City Runner - This profile will run around and unlock all of the Aetheryte's so you can teleport to different locations. (Will not work if one of the Aetheryte's is already unlocked.)
    City Runner

There are a lot of profiles that people have been kind enough to share so try them out and see what works for you! If you have any specific questions feel free to message me and I will try to help you out as much as possible, or at least point you in the right direction. I will update this as much as possible to keep it current. If you want to throw me a beer or two that would be greatly appreciated ;).
